I think this <a href="http://youtu.be/XHggPhzMaPo">video</a> is one I really want to follow up on and make. The dude did a nice job on explaining it and showing what was done. WARNING: It's 21 minutes long! Very well put together for tenderfoots like myself. 
But sadly I've run out of time to make one, so I'm just going with a Esbit stove till I get home.
Thanks to all that responded, I learned alot in responds and research. The alkey stoves has really blossomed out nicely too.
