About me: In “real life” I’m a Paramedic, fairly active; Hiking, Mt biking, Acting, etc. Married 27 years,
have 2 sons.

Backpacking Background: AT 390 miles on section hikes since 1997, about 80 miles of additional trails in
the GSMNP, another 200 or so on local (Ohio) trails, countless miles day hiking since age 3.

Similar Products Used: Mag light (2 AA), Princeton tech headlamp (incandescent, 3AA).

The Pulsar I flashlight
URL: www.princetontec.com
Yr of Manufacture: 2002
I bought this mini light at the local pro bass shop for about $9.00, & was immediately struck by how bright the
little LED light was. The pulsar is a bit larger around than a Quarter, & about 1/8” thick. Its powered by 2
large watch type batteries & operated by squeezing the middle. There is a small lanyard hole that I use to
hang the light (along with a small knife) around my neck so I have it with me at all times. The weight is less
than 1 Oz. I have the white light they come in: white, red, yellow, etc.

I have only used it on one trip, a 14-day section hike on the AT, trying to go ultra light, I (foolishly?)
carried it as my only light source. Even as my only source of light, including cooking & night time privy

Backpacking Background: I began backpacking in 1997.
I enjoy weekend and longer trips to the Sierras, but I
also travel to Washington, Colorado, and elsewhere. I
love backpacking in spring and winter snow more than
anything (especially on skis) but I am also very happy
scrambling off-trail in the Sierras or glacier-hiking
in the Cascades. My enjoyment of backpacking also
provides a basis for my additional pursuits in
climbing and mountaineering.

Sealskinz - Testers please read.

I'm back in pocket, but still way underwater. A few questions...

Did Rick get his yet?

I saw Coy's and I intend to order a pair of those gloves for myself...but
his right glove is definitely a defect. Does anyone else have gloves that
look like mutants or that don't fit?
