Chat around the World // The People Speak Newsletter #4

Dear The People,

The long march of the global conversation continues with People Speaking
in all sorts of exotic locations: Denmark! Scotland! Basildon!

This Wednesday the 27th May, aspiring Jerries and Oprahs in London will
have their chance to 'take control of the hole' at the latest Talkaoke
host training session at The People Speak HQ. These sessions have been
amazing fun, so even if you don't want to host, please do come along for
some drinks and a chat to put the new hosts through their paces.

Then on the 30th May, both Talkaoke and One Night Grandstand
(www.onenightgrandstand.co.uk) will be in full effect at the second
International Day on the Fryerns Estate, Frypa Hall, The Fryth, Basildon
Essex, SS14 3PW from 10am-4pm. All welcome for chat, dancing and footie!

For those of a Scandinavian persuasion, there is a short run of
Talkaokes in Denmark, from the 2nd - 5th June.  in collaboration with
The Digital Urban Living project (http://www.digitalurbanliving.dk/) at
Aarhus University, along with our friends at www.Rum46.dk.

On the 2nd June at 3pm, the tour kicks off at the municipal library in
downtown Aarhus, showcasing new Talkaoke talent fresh from the mobile
hosting bootcamp (http://darc.imv.au.dk/?p=133), Pernille Kølbæk, and
Rolf Glumsøe Nielsen will be hosting Danish-language world premiere of
the åben-mikrofon-talkshow, Talkaoke: the valhalla of verbiage.

On the 4th June, from 1pm-3pm, the Talkaoke table will visit Cafe Perlen
in the controversial suburb of Gellerup, finding local hosting talent to
