ADMIN - Yahoo! Groups Service Changes

Hello, PowerPro list. Yahoo! has! announced! changes! in! the! terms! of!
their! services!
(Yes, I've been reading The Register a bit too much)

The changes do not really affect us, but I feel it is my duty to inform
you of the changes. A few more of my comments after the announcement:

Dear Yahoo! Groups Moderator,

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
You are receiving this notice because you are a moderator of one or more
groups. As part of our efforts to ensure that all Yahoo! Groups users
enjoy the same high-quality service, we will implement the following
service changes on Aug. 7, 2003:

- Message Attachments: Yahoo! Groups will continue to deliver all
attachments sent via email, however, the attachments will no longer be
archived within the Messages area. You may continue to upload files and
images to the Files and Photos areas of your groups. Please re-upload any
attachments you would like to preserve to the Photos or
Files areas of your group. On Aug. 7, all attachments in the Messages area
will be removed, and Yahoo! will be unable to retrieve such data.

- Add Members: The "Add Members" feature will now allow you to add 10 new
members per day (e.g., the ability to directly add your friends and family
to your group). You may still use the "Invite Members" feature to invite
others to join your group.

- Files and Photos: Groups web membership will be required to access a

There is a bug is you use "Menu" (no star). It works fine for me if
command is *Menu.

This is not supported. I don't think it ever worked.

Sorry to hear that Alan - hope it works itself out soon.

All else I'll say though is: Lucky for us! :P

listfiles separator?

I just ran into the listfiles function. I haven't hacked with PowerPro in
a long time and was not familiar with this. So I run:

	Clip.Set (file.listfiles("C:\",0))

And get a list of all files in my C: root. But they are separated by some
weird character that my text editor cannot display. What is it? New lines?
In the clipboard viewer, they show one in each line. But when I paste the
list in my editor, there comes the weird character. I can switch the
current document's format between LF and CRLF, but neither makes the output
look right.

	Thanks,

Re: Questions, Wishes, Ideas for *Exec and *Window commands

If you're still out there, there is a script I wrote at the Files section,
called "Aliases" if I recall correctly. It does most of what you want. It
has no auto completion. Someone (Dalibor?) made one with auto completion,
but it was somewhat lengthy and complex, and sometimes a little slow, I
gave it up.

I am making small adjustments and improvement to my Alias script, just
spending some time now to write the doc, planning to upload it today. Watch
out for the "New file uploaded..." notification.

PowerPro or a girlfriend? Well, depends on the girlfriend. There are no
secrets on the Internet. Google sees and hears everything. Be careful with
your words.

	Let me try too:

regex.replaceg(win.handlelist("*",0),"[0-9]+ ?","x","myNoteCount")
myNoteCount = length(myNoteCount)
Win.Debug (myNoteCount)

The only relevant change I made was add ? to the space in the regex.
Because if you have:

	"552245 54545 54544 74748 131321564"

"[0-9]+ " will fail to match the last sequence.
Once you match all the numeric sequences, all you need is the length of
the resulting string (in the example, "xxxxx")
