How are you trying to restore a backup configuration? Are you doing this
through the PowerPro Configuration interface, or are you deleting the
.PCF file in PowerPro's folder and renaming an old backup to the
original name?

This may have an effect.

Have you tried closing down PowerPro and restarting it? Perhaps PowerPro
needs to be loaded after the WindowBlinds software so that it can
control the top area of the screen.

You may also wish to check the `bump screen top' definition in PowerPro
Configuration — it may possibly have been disabled.

PowerPro allows you to define precisely how you would like it to format
the task (or `active') buttons.

In the case that you aren't using a subbar setup, you would define the
final button on your command list as your active buttons should be
displayed.

You can also do this for a subbar setup but it is very important that
the `subBar' subbar of the `taskbar' command list is the final subbar
in that command list.

You can then create a button just before the EndSubbar command with
the properties that you wish. (Actually, I have never tried this with
a subbar setup so you may have to place this button .after. the
EndSubbar command.)

After you do this, you would need to go to the command list's
properties, move to the Active Buttons tab and tick the `Last item in
command list is used to set up active buttons' property.

You may need to experiment to get the desired effect, but it would be
greatly appreciated if you could post your results on this list.

Alan has offered you a fantastic solution to your problem already, and
it will offer you much more customisation than my solution will.
However, you may find that this solution will suffice with slightly
less effort.

Create a text document out of your hotkey listing. This will allow you
to have one hotkey definition per line and to (e.g.) use tabs to
separate the hotkeys from their definitions.

For the sake of simplicity, let's assume that you have named this text
document `HotkeyListing.txt'.

Place this text document in the same folder as your PowerPro
configuration (most likely `C:\Program Files\PowerPro'), and
then use
this command on your menu:

Command:
MessageBox

Parameters (use the whole line including brackets):
("Asterisk", File.ReadAll ("HotkeyListing.txt"))

I just tested the code that you have posted and I get the expected
result of two square brackets at the end of the output.

I'm using PowerPro v4.1.04, which can be downloaded from here and may
also fix the problem for you:

PowerPro can do step 3 for you if you write a script for it.

Your script's first instruction would be to get the highlighted
information copied to the clipboard, which could be done with the
*Clip Copy or Clip.Copy() command.

You would then need to grab a copy of the clipboard and stuff it into a
PowerPro variable.

You would then need a set of carefully ordered commands that would
search for a particular element in the variable and replace it with
another element. This would be done using the ReplaceChars() function,
for which you can find more information in PowerPro's Help file.

You would then stuff the contents of the variable back onto the
clipboard and simulate a Paste with *Clip Paste or Clip.Paste().

Hi, I'm brand new!!

Hi lol I downloaded PowerPro to help me w/ a game called
Fairyland...lame I know lol but I'm super confused about how to go
about it :/ ppl in the game said you can use this program to
'macro'...not sure how to use it exactly though, erm basically you get
into a battle use this spell on yourself until all your mp is drained
then use one spell on the mobs to kill them then you have to pray to
full mp again...lol this probally makes no sense since no1 here plays
the game but anyway, ppl said you can't actually use the program to
train your character but u can use it to train ur character's skills,
everytime you do the above it levels your skill (mine is light magic
lol), not sure any1 can help but even if some1 could direct me to a
section on information that might help that'd be wonderful!! thanks
sooooo much!!
