Details - Awesome starts very slow _firstly_, it takes about 30 secs (or more). But when I exit from awesome
(Alt+Shift+Q (awesome.quit) or Ctrl+Alt+Backspace), and start again, the startup time is ok (takes
some seconds).
I don't know what should I attach or do, please write me, what do you need.

[Patch] Getting the selection from Lua

Hi people,

with some help by Julien, i have worked on implementing a function for getting
the current primary X selection from Lua. The attached patch adds the global
function selection() which returns the content of the current selection.

This patch does not yet allow setting the current selection, though that should
be relatively easy to implement.
