Yes on Access Rule, see the tutorial on plone.org on EnSimpleStaging, and this
lets you do make a quite skin overall.

For login_form, another possibility is to customize the login_form template in
your alternative skin, to display some error page like "You're not allowed to
log in!"

In general, when writing scripts, you can often mimic what the HTML pages and
templates do -- if they are "cpt" files, look in the "Actions" tab in the ZMI;
otherwise, look at the "action=" attribute in the HTML for what method it calls.

There was a previous e-mail recently where Dieter Maurer wrote something about
this and I wrote something about this too, if you can find it ... I'm planning
on writing a short how-to on this down the road.

* To change ownership, look at the ownership_form template.

* Changing permissions is harder though because the templates use some really
disgusting methods. Look at the API for RoleManager instead, that should help.

Peace,
George

Is it possible to incorporate Struts in Zope?

No, why would you want to? Struts is vastly underpowered and inflexible
compared to what you already have available in Zope/Plone. :)

It's a totally non-sensical question from the get-go, I'm afraid. :)

Try SimpleAlias as well.

E-mail addresses revealed!

Now I feel really stupid!

I promised my members that their e-mail addresses are secret and safe. Now one
members showed that they can be revealed.

With this script: folder_localrole_form

I have changed it. But now I wonder if there is other problems like this? I am
managing a site about mental health and it is extremely important the members
can trust that their e-mail addresses are safe!

Very much worried!

portal_factory works very bad!

Hi all.

I have a Plone 2.0.5 on a Zope 2.7.6 site, using Archetype 1.3.7-final.

I want to enable portal_factory for some content type (some base CMF Types, other are my own developed archetypes).
When I create a new document for one of those content type, the URL that automatically opened is something like this:

/Intra/portal_factory/MyDoc/folder_edit_form

I don't know why, but always is used the folder_edit form!!!

The same for normal document type:

/Intra/portal_factory/Document/folder_edit_form

If I create a new Plone site in the same instance, so I use the same installed products (installing also "MyDoc"), all work normally!

I dont' know where to look... where is stored the info for what kind of template must be used in edit?

All help are very appreciated!!!
