i18n issue fixed / translations update needed with collective dancing

I have fixed the collecitve.dancing.pot file by escaping quote in three msgid.

location of translation file for plone.app.ldap

Hi

I was thinking of adding Japanese translation file for plone.app.ldap
UI.  By looking through infterface.py in source, it looks that a
translation file should go into PloneTranslations.  However,
plone.app.ldap is an add-on product.  Where should I add translation
file for the product?

Is anyone know?

As it is an add-on product, translation files should go into the product itself.

Is it ok to include 73 new strings of a non core plone package in
plone.app.locales?
We have now a branch for Plone 3.3.x and trunk is for Plone 4. The
translators will have to do double work.

I was thinking to add a locales directory in plone.app.ldap package.
If we keep the plone domain, I think the translations of
plone.app.locales and plone.app.ldap will be merged, but I think it's
the case only on Plone 4, not on Plone 3.3. Hanno, you confirm?
We can change the domain to plone.app.ldap to fix the issue in this case.
But the package is on plone repository, I think all translators
doesn't have commit access to it. So create again an external to
collective? Where?

If we change the domain to plone.app.ldap, then we will have a po file
just for this package. In this case, we can put the po in
plone.app.locales and it will be easy for translators to copy the file
to branch 3.3 and trunk or vice-versa, doesn't matter. If we put the
po in plone.app.locales 3.3.x, we can add a files externals in
plone.app.locales 4.0.x.

Or like Hanno said, create simply a locales directory in
plone.app.ldap. If translators want to translate, then they sign the
contributor agreement.
But I think we will have to change the domain from plone to plone.app.ldap here.

Since I have the contributor agreement, I can change the source code and
add directories for translation.  However, placing translation file in
the product itself will hold back translation activities.  So do you
think you can make some link to the collective space to facilitate
translation activities?

Ok,
I changed the i18n domain to plone.app.ldap and generated an initial
plone.app.ldap.pot.
I saw there is some strings uninternationalized in some vocabularies,
you can fix them Jay.
You have an update.sh script in the locales directory.
