Hi, I'm a little confused about how to translate a custom content type properly. ZopeSkel sets the i18n domain inside the MyType.xml to my.domain. So I can extract the messages using i18ndude and add the translations to the egg's locales. The translation is pulled in correctly in Plone's Add... action pull down. But editing the content type, there won't be shown the translation but the default 'Edit MyType' Is this because the types.xml should be domain plone, and the translation should be done using the plone domain? For any file in a GenericSetup profile you need to use the plone domain for now. Otherwise the translation will only work on 20% of the cases and which those are is fairly random. Using the plone domain works in all cases right now. Obviously not quite what we want, but this is the current state of affairs. I just added as base files for Thai language po files. Now, you just need to svn checkout them for filling-out. What I have done was: - Clone from POT template file and renamed it with -th.po suffix. - Changed a couple of definition entries of each files as follows. Hello Mung and Dylan, Yes, a login account is required if you would like to upload po files by yourself. I don't think there is some additional procedure to get svn access if you can login to plone.org already. Just drop an email to get the svn account as described in the Translation Guidelines you mentioned in your mail. It might be safer to post the translated files to this i18n mailing list or to me rather than direct upload. I will do the simple testing on my local Plone environment before I upload. Since these mailing list has size limitation, I will send the ZIP file directly. Send me an filled-out files directly, if you feel the testing before upload is too much work for you. Hello, I'm using Plone 3.1.7 with LinguaPlone 2.4. Initially, I created a few Large Plone Folders that, by default, got set to English. Now I would like to change them to language neutral so that these folders will appear regardless of the user's preferred language (which, from the LinguaPlone documentation, should be possible to do). So from my large plone folder, I hit the Translate Into --> Manage Translations option, and select "Language Neutral" from the Change content language menu. Instead of changing my folder's language, it creates a new language neutral Large Plone Folder. Is this a bug? Or am I misunderstanding how this is supposed to work? Has this happened to anyone else?
