How to add icons to a new skin using the DIYPloneStyle product?

Hi everybody,
I am new to plone and actually struggling with the creation of a new skin
using the DIYPloneStyle product with Plone 2.5 following the instructions
from Alexander Limi in his howto (Creating a new theme for Plone: a
real-world example).
Everything works fine but I don't know how to add icons for folder, links,
pages etc. , icons in the navigation portlet or a favicon.
I tried to put them into the Products/MyTheme/skins/mytheme_images - folder
which has been created from the DIYPloneStyle product, as I did for changing
the logo, but this did not work for icons. I don't know where to put the
icons that should be used in my new skin.
Does anyone has an idea or experiences with that?
Thanks in advance,

Moritz

PloneTranslation 3.0

Hi,

I saw that PloneTranslations 3.0.0 was released.

I currently test migration of Plone 3.0 with the svn bundle. AFAICS
PloneTranslations 3.0 is not included in this bundle.

Is this correct? Do I have to manually install PloneTranslations?

I would like to stick to svn up

No. PloneTranslations SVN trunk is included in the Plone 2.5 and Plone
3.0 bundles. Releases of PloneTranslations that work with both of them
are made from SVN trunk. The latest is PloneTranslations 3.0.0 which
will be used in Plone 2.5.3.

Bottom line: You don't have to care about PloneTranslation version
numbers at all. They don't really mean anything, as they are not bound
to any Plone release.

LinguaPlone Flags for combined language codes

How can I add a flag for a country with a combined language-code, so that it
will be shown as flag and not as country name?
You can see the problem here on that webpage for the language-code Serbian
(Yugoslavia) http://www.unitedgames.org http://www.unitedgames.org
I tried to put it as flag-sr-yu.gif into the custom folder, but it doesn't
work. I tried to figure out where the flags are stored, but I can't find it.

Did someone have the same problem before? I would be very greatful to get
some help on that, I've been trying to solve that for quite some time now...

I think that there was a wrong encoding issue with spanish translation
files.

This was discussed at plone-i18n, some months ago, and I think I fixed
it in svn:
