Hello Rose,

> Is there a Plone Bahasa Shell translation working?

all the current Plone translations are listed in:

http://plone.org/development/teams/i18n/existing-translations

Bahasa is in an early stage and needs some serious work
before it can be used.

Would you like to help us to improve the Bahasa status? :-)

Cheers,

If this only happens in Opera, and not in IE/FF/Safari, I'd report it to
the Opera team. I believe their RTL support is still a bit lacking, but
haven't checked their latest releases.

RTL - align of LRT text

opened align bug - hope it is clear

When the screen mode is RTL all the text which is LRT is align to the right and not the the left as it usually is.

Only rtl langugues should be align to the right

plone-es.po typos

Hi all,

I have noticed that plone-es.po shipped with Plone 2.5.2 has several typo and encoding errors, like
"órden" -> "orden" or "Ítem" (where "Í" is corrupted due to a bad encoding).

I have read that there are tests to check if .po files are right. Do this tests check bad-encoded words?

I could send my plone-es.po fixed to the list or somebody with commits permission. Next Plone release would not have this errors..

Thanks.

I've found these encoding and accentuation issues. Are these the changes
you suggest? If you agree, I can commit them.

Re: Basic questions re: LinguaPlone

To follow up on my earlier newbie questions on LinguaPlone and i18ndude:

I want to remove the internationalization flags that display and simply add
a menu item to my portaltabs area that alternates between English and
Spanish, depending on what language you currently have selected. Is there an
easy, out of the box way to do this?

I need a way to easily send files to people in Guatemala and have them
understand clearly what needs to be translated. I thought that i18ndude
would allow me to do this, and I have it installed (well, I installed the
egg successfully), but I don't know what to do with it. Can someone shed
some light on this?

Also, I hear that there is a product out there called POEdit that might help
out, but I have yet to locate that product anywhere. This is the only
reference I have found:

http://www.vslavik.nextradsl.cz/tmp/poedit-test-build.zip (Per Alexander,
"Try this early early alpha build, has to be run from the command line, and
might crash on you")

Not to mention, I'm still trying to figure out where the mysterious .po
files are hiding...

Thanks,

- Veda
