Does this mean a repository is down?

getpaid.ploneformgen – Getpaid Adapter ignores getpaid.ogone and displays explicit CrediCard Interface

We have the issue that the getpaid.ploneformgen – Getpaid Adapter ignores getpaid.ogone and displays an explicit CreditCard Interface to enter the CardData. This is not acceptable (see below).

Is anyone using getpaid.ploneformgen or getpaid.ogone aware of this issue. How can I expect to work around this. I am not fully understanding the mechanisms of getpaid.ploneformgen due to lack of documentation. I am reading the code, but get no grip on it for now.

Background of PCI certification limitations
======================================
Due to PCI certification limitations, processing CreditCard data details inside getpaid is not appropriate for use with pament abstractor services like e.g. Paypal and Ogone.

If you want to process CreditCard data details directly inside getpaid you need a PCI certification process with annual audits to confirm to the standards the CreditCard companies restrict you to.

This can be avoided by using an inbetween Payment Processor like in our case Ogone. Ogone takes over the amount of money to be transferred and processes the creditcard data outside of your system inside their certified solution. You get never in touch with the creditcard data of your customer. Reoccuring purchases can make use of such called "Aliases" to make it possible for customers to refer to existing pament data.

State of getpaid.ogone and Products.PloneGetPaid core
=============================================
We have the getpaid.ogone plugin working so far with Plone 4.1.2 and current ogone API in the testing environment. Patrick Gerken (do3cc) is currently checking in the changes into github.

Any reaction of people having Getpaid, Ogone and or getpaid.ploneformgen in production is welcome.

flatrateshipping configuration?

I'm looking at the flatrateshipping module but I don't see a user interface for its configuration. Does the config UI exist? Thanks.

permission for committing

Hi,

I'd like to commit a new dev buildout (Plone 4.0.4), and possibly some
other stuff like translations.

However, i can't check in, see error below.

Is this intentional, or do i have a configuration error? What is the
way to gain commit access?

ecommerce.site buildout

just sharing:

I was playing around with GetPaid a few weeks ago and tried to get it
running on Plone4, with Paypal, local shipment rate calculation, and a
product catalog/gallery, just for fun.

The result is this buildout which generic enough for use elsewhere.
https://dev.inigo-tech.com/svn/izhar/ecommerce.site/trunk/

the trunk currently checkouts a fork of getpaid.paypal which enables
the plone-side shipment calculation (rather than using the paypal
shipment feature), which you can exclude by just commenting out from
the buildout.

Theres also getpaid.posmalaysia which calculate rate based on
Malaysian main postal company's rate, which of course can be disabled
too as its just a plugin to getpaid.

feel free to fork the buildout :)

demo site: http://commerce.kagesenshi.org/all-merchandise

main components:
 * collective.merchandise: a dexterity product which give a
Merchandise content type which have multi image gallery support
 * getpaid.posmalaysia: shipment calculation for Pos Malaysia
 * collective.arraynamedfile: a hack to make array based
namedfile/namedimage works.
 * xdvtheme.toolshop: XDV configs for a free theme called Toolshop

Schema Extension to IPayable

Hi,

I am finding myself extending IPayable.(To add vat codes to
products).

I have forked the getpaid.core.interfaces code base to add the code I
want into the base class. This obviously causes long term problems.

Is there a schema extension approach I should be using?

This is probably a generic Plone issue. I am not a very experienced
Plone user.

Thanks,

Kevin

What is the status of PloneGetPaid

Hi,

What is the status of PloneGetPaid. It seems to have gone comatose.

I have just been experimenting with customising it for my application.
It is quite impressive. It also worked when I installed it on Plone 4.0.3.

However, I am a bit worried about the state of the project...

The plonegetpaid.com website is gone.
The user contributed docs on
http://plone.org/products/getpaid/documentation are all years old.
Few docs in the wiki are under a year old.
There are few checkins under subversion.
114 open issues.

Before I invest time and effort implementing my requirements, is this
project viable? There are 200 subscribers to this list. Are you still
using PloneGetPaid? Have you switched to Satchmo, LFS or something else?

Thanks

Kevin

introspection of getpaid screens

Hi,

I am just trying out getpaid. To customise the viewlets I have had to
grep the source code and work back from text in templates.

Is there tools that I should be using to introspect the screens?
@@manage-viewlets does not appear to work.

Thanks,

Kevin

Status of GetPaid in Plone 4.0

Plone 4.0 has been around for some months now. I have a prototype of
getpaid working on Plone-4.0.3, but the documentation is not quite
clear of the whereabouts of getpaid in Plone4.0.

I tryied to get getpaid.recipe.release to work with Plone 4 but there
are some version conflicts (I understand that the recipe claims to
work only with Plone 3).

So, what's the status of GetPaid with regards to Plone 4?
