RE: blank windows with r8780

Deleted the sticky plugin.

Widgets page doesn't work with either Daiko's Text Widgets or KB Countdown
Widgets. The page is frozen, can't select any widgets at all, used or not,
and can't select a different column.

Reason #5: Why WordPress should switch to PHP5(.3). Namespaces!

Truthfully, it is really bad practice to not prefix functions in
plugins. Also, you don't need that plugin any more, so you can delete it.

WP 2.7 Build 8793 and spacing issue

Build 8793 of WP 2.7 has some spacing issue with the top dark bar when
viewing in Firefox. Look fine on Safari and Opera.

I'm having the same issue. It's not really major, though.

Seems to look fine here. Which version of FF? Also could you take a
screenshot or check in Firebug what's causing it? Thanks.

http://static.wordpress.org/builds/

Hi there,
the nightly source mentioned in the list-welcome-mail
 (http://wordpress.org/download/nightly-builds/ redirected to
http://static.wordpress.org/builds/)
seems b0rked since May 4th. I browsed the list archive a bit and found out
that i can get the nightly here
 (http://trac.wordpress.org/browser/trunk) and here (
http://wordpress.org/nightly-builds/wordpress-latest.zip),
but wouldn't it be nice to get this information right from the start? (or
get the "old" directory working again?)

cheers

Humble request for 2.7

Gents,

Can we change that Widget design to where you can move your widgets between
the sidebars, without having to copy/paste/delete old/create new? Like you
used to could in previous versions?

I like the new design, with the second way confirm step, but the lack being
able to move stuff, and all the extra steps, quite frankly, sucks.

Thanks,

Pat

Re: Humble request for 2.7

I'll second that and add my own little request. Could you consider
bringing back or recreating a "repository" for active widgets that have
to be temporarily removed from a sidebar. This is especially important
when considering text widgets. Currently, if for any reason, a user
needs to temporarily remove a text widget or widgets from their
sidebar(s) then the text/html within that widget ceases to exist and the
the text widget has to be rewritten from scratch before it can be put
back and this is a major inconvenience. For example, it's quite often
that a text widget that has html or script written to it that links to
some social service, Flickr image (among others) or news gadget has to
be removed temporarily if the respective service goes down (which can
stop their site from fully loading). Pre WP 2.5 you had a area to place
these widgets that were temporarily removed and they would keep their
format and now, of course, we don't.

Respectfully submitted.

RE: Humble request for 2.7

Second on the repository for temporarily removed widgets, maybe something like the recently removed
plug-in section?

It would also be nice to be able to name a text widget without putting a title on it in the sidebar. For
identification purposes.

WP 2.7 bleeding -- edit post page

Hi all --

just wanted to say I'm really liking the changes to the Edit Post
screen. The ability to drag and drop elements around the page is
great; the Settings meta box that lets you hide/show elements is
nicely done. And it all works with Meta boxes created by plugins. :)

I've noticed one bug -- the Visual/HTML tabs are on top of the buttons
when in Visual mode. In HTML mode it's fine.

There's some interesting things in this interface. Nice work.
