SnipSnap Web Start && single click jar

Hi,

another little step towards ease of use:
http://snipsnap.org/static/javaws/snipsnap.jnlp

A Webstart version of the latest stable code which contains everything
and installs by just clicking on the link.
To get it running I had to move the conf/server.conf to java.util.prefs
which is a platform independent way of storing preferences. Instead of
using the jvm working dir for storing the applications it now uses the
users home dir.

And its even simpler than that. No need to remember the URL from the
console log. It will open a browser window for you to carry on with the
setup. I tested it on Windows and MacOS X and support is there for
Freebsd, Linux and Solaris Sparc.

To get all this running I modified the build process so it builds a
single jar (9MB :() which can be run by just clicking on it. This is
not suitable in a server environment but should suffice for most home
users.

Have fun,

	Leo.

[SnipSnap-dev] Serious Import BUG

Hi,

there is a serious bug in the import part of SnipSnap. It
double-encrypts passwords because it does not detect already encrypted
strings. There is a patched version available for download.

Release 0.3a

Hello,

we released SnipSnap 0.3a.

SnipSnap release 0.3a

SnipSnap is an easy to install and easy to use weblog and wiki system
written in Java.
The biggest new featurue in 0.3a is that we moved to a CSS based layout
and now support themes.
Every user can now easily change the layout and look of his weblog and
wiki. SnipSnap
ships with some default themes, some of them inspired by other weblog
tools to make transition for
those users easier.

We added a plugin architecture to SnipSnap which makes it easy to add
macros. Just drop a jar into
the server directory and snipSnap uses your own macros. There is no
longer a need to change the source
code of SnipSnap. There is a small tutorial to write your own macros at
http://snipsnap.org/space/Macro+Tutorial and how to write List
Formatters
http://snipsnap.org/space/List+Formatter+Tutorial+1

Please use http://snipsnap.org when linking to SnipSnap, thanks.
