darcs changes 2006-11-01


Good Morning!

This are the darcs changes for DokuWiki committed

DW changelog: messages empty

Hi,

I read DWs changelog via Akregator. I get all the notices when a page is 
changed, but I only see (e. g.)

Differences
  This shows you the differences between the selected revision and the 
current version of the page.
users:wflamme:pdfex 2006-11-01 14:01
users:wflamme:pdfex 2006-11-01 14:01 current

plus the horizontal bar - but no text. Now there are 2 versions of this 
page with the same timestamp, or how do I have to understand the 
headings? The first changelog notice like this was 
"plugin:indexmenu:discussion - Response to bug" on 2006-10-31 09:29, 
while "playground:playground" on 2006-10-31 09:19 had the different text 
parts inside, as usual. "plugin:indexmenu - Added bug with php5" from 
09:35 was OK again, "wiki:install - old revision restored" (10:08) empty.

Besides, I tried several times to edit one section of the page and 
always saw "you edit an old version of this page" at the top. I had to 
edit the whole page to get rid of this.

Someone can explain this to me please?

Problem - can't report bugs


Hello,

I am unable to register into http://bugs.splitbrain.org - tryied several
times with email and jabber and never get a password. Today I make another
try with different addresses. Still nothing. Any idea why? I used my real
name and correct email (I try two different addresses to be exact).

And also about the bug in RC2 - when installing a plugin in manager, the new
plugin does not appear in the list right after the download. I must reload or
revisit the plugins page. In earlier versions the plugin appeared in the list
marked with different color.

That bug has been fixed. I don't recall if the fix made it into RC3 or 
not, but will definitely be in the release.

Hmm I found one: borland <at> sh.cvut.cz You should be registered as user
'borland'. Try to reset your password through the "forgot my password"
link in the bugtracker and mail me in private if it doesn't work for
you.

Media Manager namespace bug

Hi all,

Bug filed here:
http://bugs.splitbrain.org/?do=details&id=963

Details:
Files with a txt extension for some reason get their own namespace in
the media manager, example:

http://tatewake.com/wiki/lib/exe/mediamanager.php?ns=projects

Changing the file extension removes the namespace, so I believe this
verifies the bug's existance.

Running an RC, but not the latest RC, not sure if this is present in
newer builds.

Yes.  I've closed it.  fyi - patch isn't in RC3 (was pushed on Oct-27).

The changelog is not an RSS feed. Point Akregator at the URL to 
"feed.php" in your installation of Dokuwiki. See the RSS link image at
