Advances in Card Sorting - Workshops in London and Edinburgh (Early Booking Discount)

(Apologies if you receive more than one copy of this message.)

If you are trying to design or improve a web site, intranet or
application, usability testing can take you only so far. To establish
how menus and navigation should be organized or what fields users expect
to see together on a form, card sorting is a much more effective
approach.

Our card sorting tools are designed from the ground up for user
experience professionals and researchers. The latest version (SynCaps
V2) provides the most sophisticated and insightful analyses available
for evaluating existing designs and converging on new solutions. It can
help you answer important questions:

-	How effective is the current design in meeting users'
expectations (navigational alignment)
-	Which participants should we include in the analysis?
-	What group names were used for categorizing items and how often?
-	What items should be in more than one place?

(For examples of some of these analyses see www.syncaps.com)

Also, our tools support both computer-aided paper sorting (Caps) and any
web or desktop sorting solution using EZSort/EZCalc-format format files
(www.websort.net or IBM's EZSort for example).

Get firsthand experience of advanced card sorting at our workshops in
London and Edinburgh in May. Participants will receive a fully-licensed
preview copy of SynCaps V2 that will be upgraded to the final release at
no extra charge.

Advances in Card Sorting Workshops - 3 for 2! Last week for early booking in London.

(Apologies if you receive more than one of these.)

Whether you are trying to help a customer redesign their web navigation or giving your IA’s some user-centred food for thought, you will want to know about the most up-to-date tools and techniques for card sorting.

This is the last week for the early booking discount for the London course on 12 May, but we have introduced a three-places-for-the-price-of-two special offer to tempt you further. The course includes a preview copy of our latest analysis software (SynCaps V2) that can be upgraded to the final version at no additional charge. (The 3 for 2 offer includes 2 copies of the software.) This will be the only way of acquiring the new software and analyses until the final version is available later in the year.

We have added features requested by existing users as well as innovations of our own. The topics covered will have an advanced focus but previous card sorting experience is not absolutely essential.
