[Sigia-l] Lead User Experience-London-£60,000+ (Strategy + Product)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a lead UX consultant to join one of
the coolest, most creative digital agencies I work with.

I know this agency well and love them, very playful culture, who ultimately
love to solve complex problems with innovative solutions. Find that the best
way to solve a client’s problem is to get involved at the beginning of
projects, where they can add there thinking right from the start. Really
like the way they work, collaboration is key to all their work, big ideas
and strategic thinking is key to their methodology. Company has an extremely
low retention rate which I think says a lot about the company.

My client is around 35 people strong, however is growing significantly so a
great opportunity to join this extended family and help grow and develop
with the company.

The Role

The Lead User Experience consultant will come on board and own the UX across
a wide range of digital products and services. You will work very closely
with creative, planning and the technical team to help shape and solve
complex digital problems. You will get involved at all stages across
strategy, research and UX design.

This is a client facing role, so it’s important you are comfortable
presenting to a wide array of clients from internal and external
stakeholders.

Opportunity to work on a huge variety of interesting projects from
redesigning the transactional site of a global financial bank to working on
a brand new social product based project. Worth noting that all work is

Hey,

As in a rough mock up of a design.

You may be sketching an idea or producing scamps, so rough designs of some of your ideas, normally quite
quick designs, getting your ideas on paper.

Cheers Ben

[Sigia-l] User Experience Team Lead/London/£50k-£55k. (Hands On/Line Management)

UX Team Lead.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a User Experience Team Lead to join a
creative digital agency. The role offers a 50/50 split of hands on UX work
matched with direct line management of 4 UX designers. Amazing array of
clients from globally recognised commercial clients to 3rd sector and
charity clients.

You will be working in a team of 16 people, mixture of design and UX and
will report into the very experienced director of User Experience.
Ultimately you will be the champion of User Experience both within the
agency and to all their wide list of clients.

Ideally you will have some sort of line management experience, be it
directly managing 1 member of staff. Open to the idea of structuring the
team around the person who they bring in. If you only have a small amount of
management experience but lots of mentoring experience then happy for you to
step up. Happy for you to start off by managing 1-2 member of staff then
moving up to 4 when your ready.

You will be working across the full UCD lifecycle, important you have both
Research and UX Design experience as the role accomplishes both.

Your role will accomplish a wide variety of tasks from ensuring best
practise UX to delegating UX work effectively to the other UX consultants
you manage.

Recent projects have included a large scale IA and research project for a
well known cancer charity to creating an iPad and mobile app for a leading
retail brand.

I understand scamps to be a thing that graphic/visual designers do - it's a sketch with visual
design.

Scamps are to Photoshop for graphic designers, what sketches are to Axure wireframes for UXDs.

[Sigia-l] User Experience/London/£35,000-£45,000 (Career Development + Cross Platform UX work)

Hey,

If you’re a User Experience Consultant looking to join one of the most well
known and respected digital agencies in the world then look no further.

You will gain the opportunity to work on a wide variety of multi channel,
cross platform projects to working with some of the world’s leading consumer
brands. You will gain the chance to really develop your skills and career
through my clients highly regarded industry leading training and development
programme.

Important that you are a creative thinker, ideas person who can solve
complex interactive and digital problems through innovative solutions. My
client finds the best way to solve their client’s problems is through
collaboration. Hence it’s important you are happy working alongside UX,
creative technologists, designers to help solve problems and ideate.

Really like the way client works. Not so much about creating large decks of
wireframes, more about sketching an idea, before going straight to
prototyping. This allows the teams to focus on the solution not the
deliverables.

You will gain the chance to lead the UX design on specific projects from
beginning to end. Be it getting involved in the upfront strategy, looking
into research to actually delivering the UE work through a number of UX
design deliverables.

You will also gain the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects
from creating a consumer facing mobile banking application to redesigning
one of the largest consumer brands websites in the world.
