 This seminar at ASIS&T 2010 provides a forum for doctoral candidates 
 and recent doctoral graduates to discuss their research and career 
 plans with more senior scholars. During the seminar, the junior 
 scholars will become acquainted with more senior scholars working in 
 related areas and will have the opportunity to interact with their peers.

 Ten doctoral students will be invited to participate, with partial 
 support from ASIST.

Digital Media specialist seeks a fantastic IA/UX for a 3 month contract. You
will be working on a few projects across multiple medias, however a very
strong focus will be in the development of a Video on Demand service (VOD)
product so any experience in video or in the broadcast world will be very
appealing however not a necessity.

an exciting 3 month contract. 

You will be working alongside some of their biggest clients, solving
complicated business problems, designing high end web based business

Your role will be vital for representing the end users needs.

Contract IA position at Staples
We have an immediate need for an IA to work on browser-based interfaces.

This is a short-term contract position (4-8 weeks) with the possibility
to convert to long-term (~6 months).
The scope of the work will include creating process flows based on
understanding gleaned from existing systems, prototypes, requirement
sessions and ongoing ethnographic user research. Other assets like
low-fidelity wireframes and content maps will also be created in
accordance with in-house standards.
At Staples these IA deliverables are widely used by the business and IS
departments as means of communication and form a part of our development
methodology.

[Sigia-l] Fireworks IA Gig

Hi,

Does anyone out there use Fireworks for wireframes? If so, have a need for
your help for a 2-3 week gig. You'll be working with me on a survey
application used in the health industry. You'll be primarily developing
wireframes in Fireworks based off of user research we conduct. The pace will
be fast (agile environment). On-site is not required, but preferred. We can
