Mozilla Firefox allows users to access all of the hidden settings by
browsing to about:config. Try it out.

Seems like such a feature would be well received in OmniWeb. :)

Crashes

What is it with the latest OW and leopard?

It crashes all the time, in fact it is not usable.

Re: Crashes

Bill Wisse from "169 west, 19 south" asked about crashes with Leopard.

But the interesting thing is that you're living on Niue, an Island
nation I didn't know existed until just now. A useful description of
your home is on the CIA Factbook site:

ne.html>

What sort of internet connection can you get out there? And, more on
topic, can you tell us more about your computer: did earlier Omniweb
versions work? do other browsers work? have you tried the usual
solutions (Disk Utility, verify, repair permissions... etc.)?

And greetings from 76.5 west, 39 north - Annapolis, Maryland.

Re: Crashes

Latest latest? I'm running OW 5.7 sneaky peek 1,
and it has been very stable except when quitting.
I'm running Leopard (OS X 10.5.1).

Hm, same OmniWeb and same OSX. My OW crashes once a day or more, often
while watching videos. I'm about to go to Firefox if they don't cut
this out.

I don't like FF. I read on the MACOSX list that the newest FF is
bloated and slowwwwwwwww.
People are changing back to Safari. I use safari as well but find OW
better.

Same OW (5.7sp1 build of the day) and OS X here, and I'm with Beth on
crashes: completely stable except when restarting after updating.
