People, Now that Frozen-Bubble 2 is essentially a thing of the past, I'm prepared to focus a bit on maintaining Booh. As you probably know, ruby-gtk2 0.15.0 has some severe bugs (allocation related) preventing a proper use a Booh. I advice everyone to use 0.14.1 or current CVS, but not 0.15.0, as a lot of crashes will be the outcome. I have tried to make sure that next release will not have these problems by testing and debugging, and I am now reasonably confident that current CVS is as stable as 0.14.1. Current changes in CVS compared to last release: * transcode first place is not reliable, use mencoder first * i18n: add esperanto * don't produce broken JS when original size is selected * allow simple and double quotes in made-with and index links If you want to suggest changes, feel free to do that, we never know :) What is mainly disappointing for me, is the small amount of users of Booh. Do you people have ideas why, and possibly how this could be fixed? Of course, spamming the bins mailing-list is out of ethics scope :)(Continue reading)
