Building from source

Hi,

As I can't get XMeeting 0.4p2 to work at all with our Tandberg C60s I  
am trying to build from source to try and figure out what could be  
causing the problems.
I have been trying to get various targets to build for about an hour  
now with little success.

Most of the problems seem to be due to a reorganisation of the pwlib  
and opal libraries with no corresponding updates to XMeeting.
Has anyone got this software to build with any versions of pwlib and  
opal (I have been trying with HEAD sources for each).

This used to be a good app but lately I'm not seeing much activity  
which is a shame given the effort that had gone into it and the lack  
of any alternative.

Built in i Sight.

Hello,
The version of Xmeeting I just installed, Version 0.4p2 is not getting video from my Built in I sight.  When I
go to preferences - video input, preferred video device is built in i sight. Under tools - audio video
controls - I get no device under video and no option to change.  

I have a MacBook Pro with OS X version 10.5.8

Any suggestions.  Thanks in advance.

Possibly off topic (OPAL)

Hello, I'm new to the list, but I'm trying to get Fax over IP working  
on a mac. I have the t38modem program, but it needs OPAL. When I tried  
to get OPAL to compile, it failed, and the documentation lead me to  
xmeeting.

Now, t doesn't appear that xmeeting does fax, or t38, and it doesn't  
appear that it provides libraries that other applications can use. Is  
there an easy way to do this? or do I need to tear this apart myself?

Xmeeting and Snow Leopard

I am one of those with an issue with XMeeting and Snow Leopard.  
Following the earlier threads, I can get it to open fine. I can make  
connections, see the away conferences, control the far camera, hear,  
and make myself heard. But, the other side sees a highly pixelated  
image of what my camera caught at the first connection moment. Then,  
while it looks like it's frozen, it's actually "progressing" at a rate  
of a frame per...minute? I see this in both connections to another  
user using a 10.5 OS running XMeeting and a new polycom system.

I upgraded to 0.04p2, and then downgraded to the previous version.  
Identical behavior seen in both.

I see posts, but no response from the developer(s). Is there hope? Is  
there a plan or an understanding of how to resolve this?
