[releases] linphone-3.3.2 and new android version

Hi dear subscribers,

A bugfix release of linphone as well as new version of mediastreamer2
are available:

Linphone:
http://download.savannah.gnu.org/releases-noredirect/linphone/stable/sources/linphone-3.3.2.tar.gz
It just fixes some quite important bugs from the previous release.

Mediastreamer2:
http://download.savannah.gnu.org/releases-noredirect/linphone/mediastreamer/mediastreamer-2.6.0.tar.gz
The changelog for mediastreamer2 is
	* android sound capture optimisations
	* optional "threaded" v4l2 capture
	* fix crash when video window is closed on windows
	* move H264 decoder from msx264 to mediastreamer2
	* MSVolume improvements and cleanup, with native AGC support.
	* Echo canceller reworked: use soundcard stream to synchronise far-end
stream.
	* fix segfault in ALSA support when capturing a stereo stream.
	* H263 RFC2190 support improvements

Also yesterday we published a new version of linphone for android on the
market. It brings significant improvements:
- Global integration: you can invoke linphone from the Contact
application
- Echo cancellation (suppresses the echo heared by the remote end)
- iLBC codec
- Outbound proxy setting
- Autostart at boot time

Does that mean the separate msx264 package is no longer needed?

It is just the decoder that was moved.

x264 version

Can anyone tell me what version of x264 they are using with msx264?

I have been using x264 snapshot 20091103, but the last version of msx264
that compiles with is version 1.3.0. I thought it was about time I
upgraded to version 1.3.3.

Unable to make calls

Hi,

I have installed the linphone on my Google Nexus One and have created an account on Paradial RealTunnel but I am not able to make calls. I receive the error message “No Response” “Cannot call null”.

Can you help please?

Thanks,

Fwd: Unable to make calls

I installed your latest update but am still unable to place calls. Now the result is "unable to call no response". The call never rings in the phone I am trying to call. Do you have any ideas?

Time out for ringing phase

Hello,
linphone is ringing when called, but after around five times (~10sek.) it stops ringing.

Asterisk-CLI shows up the following at this moment:
   -- Got SIP response 603 "Decline" back from 192.168.1.116
   -- SIP/9876543-2209 is busy
   == Everyone is busy/congested at this time (1:1/0/0)
...

I'd like linphone to ring for a minimum of 60 seconds.
How can I adjust this?
I couldn't find any setting in linphonerc file.

I'm using Linphone 3.3.2 on Windows XP.

Thanks,
Stefan

Android

I have downloaded the latest version of the Android App on a Motorola Backflip from AT&T. It is my understanding that the phone runs Android OS 1.5.

The phone works, but I see no numbers on the keypad? All the images are there, and if I didn't know what each block was I wouldn't be able to dial a number.

Is anyone else experiencing this?
