For the desktop that may be true, but it doesn't do so well on 400MHz armv4t

You don't mention anything about what sound devices you have, or what devices
skype is using. There are some useful commands within linphonec for testing:

play <path_to_wav_file>
record <path_to_wav_file>

how to configure linphone for video display

Hi All,

I have installed the Linphone-3.2.1 on my Linux machine and able to call to the mobile numbers. I have tried to call to another SIP address then the audio quality is good but I am unable to see the video of remote person ( My Self video is able to see at my place ). Can any one suggest me what changes are required to see the remote person video for linphone.

Thanks,

It is probably this bug, which seem to have fallen into a black hole:

Sorry, wrong software phone! That's ekiga.

I have to say that unlike ekiga, I have never had difficulty with
linphone video, so I can't help you.

Re: Linphone crash

Hi Marcin,

I'm quite embarrassed because I'm unable to reproduce any crash under
the conditions you are describing with my Windows XP laptop.
Did you try with 3.2.1 instead of 3.2.0, just in case ?

Re: Unable to see the remote person's Video

Hi,

The two phones probably don't have common video codecs.
Send a log with linphone-3 --verbose &>log.txt
