linphone crash

Hi,

I'm having this when my "Creative Live! Cam Optia AF" is plugged in:
Any ideas? FFmpeg and linphone are fresh from trunk.

Thanks,
Michal Svoboda

Linphone 3.1.0 | Crash "undefined symbol: ms_set_mtu"

Hello,

I retrieved the last SVN version of Linphone (3.1.0,  January 19, 2009). After some apt-get dependencies, I had been able to create the "./configure" file using the "autogen.sh" script.

Then the "make" and "make install" steps finished successfully.

So Linphone should be installed. But when I started the application (with gdb), this error appeared :

Starting program: /usr/local/bin/linphone-3 --verbose
/usr/local/bin/linphone-3: error while loading shared libraries: libortp.so.8: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Program exited with code 0177.

After a "locate" of the libortp.so.8, it was in the directory "/usr/local/lib/". So I copied the two files libortp.so and libortp.so.8 in the directory "/usr/lib/".
But when I started again the application, an other error appeared :

Starting program: /usr/local/bin/linphone-3 --verbose
/usr/local/bin/linphone-3: error while loading shared libraries: liblinphone.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Program exited with code 0177.

I did the same action that previously, a copy of liblinphone.so and liblinphone.so.3 from "/usr/local/lib/" to "/usr/lib/".
After this step, next run of Linphone crashed later.

Starting program: /usr/local/bin/linphone-3
[Thread debugging using libthread_db enabled]
[New Thread 0xb681c700 (LWP 3295)]

Program exited with code 0177.

And now I have no idea to resolve this problem. Is it a known bug?

Thanks.

Re: Linphone 3.1.0 | Crash "undefined symbol: ms_set_mtu"

Hello,

1- remove
/usr/lib/libmediastreamer.so*
/usr/lib/libortp.so*
/usr/lib/liblinphone.so*

2- run with:
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/local/lib linphone-3

or add
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$LD_LIBRARY_PATH:/usr/local/lib

at the end of your ~/.bashrc and ~/.bash_profile

Compile error in latest SVN

   Hi,
I'm getting the following error with the latest SVN, with (mostly)
Slackware 10, gcc 3.3.4. I know this has something to do with the older
version of glibc I have, but I can't remember the fix. I also had another
error which I unfortunately didn't save, on prior SVN updates. It had
something to do with an undefined reference to a video component in
liblinphone. I'll try to post it after I get this figured out. :)

   Thanks in advance,
   Steve

Linphone on windows

Hello,

I am working on linphone in the windows environment. Based on the readme that comes with the linphone, I was able to run oRTP, mediastreamer and coreapi .dev files.  But when I try building the linphone.dev in gtk-glade, I get a compiler error saying gtk/gtk.h: file not found. I tried setting the path. I also have added extracted libglade bin and dev zips inside gtk bundle folder just as the read me had asked.

Am I missing something?. Any help would be appreciated.

-Thanks
Subha.

No sound with incoming calls

Hi,

i tested linphone 3.0 (and 2.1.1 on debian) and i have no sound with
incoming calls on my sipgate account. I have a public number to be
called on in my town, and this number is used for the incoming call
"To:" part. But the sipgate account needs another number to login in
which could be seen in the "From:" line of the outgoing call.
The phone is ringing on the incoming call, but no sound gets to the
other end (both directions), while it works perfectly for the outgoing call.

This is the call history

Incoming call at So 15 Feb 2009 13:26:27 CET
From: "0176XXXXXXXX" <sip:0176XXXXXXXX <at> sipgate.de>;tag=as439c8c9b
To: <sip:0049381YYYYYYYY <at> sipgate.de>
Status: completed
Duration: 0 mn 27 sec

Outgoing call at So 15 Feb 2009 13:26:57 CET
From: <sip:585ZZZZ <at> sipgate.de>
To: "0176XXXXXXXX" <sip:0176XXXXXXXX <at> sipgate.de>
Status: completed

Thank you for your help,
Karsten

Sorry for the noise it seems to work now. :-)

Re: No sound with incoming calls

Hi,

the problem is still there, unfortunately, but it seems to be a problem
with startup of linphone.

If I get a call before doing a call myself, there is no sound either way
for the incoming call. But if I do an outgoing call first then it works
fine.

So there is a workaround for me to call a test number (or something)
every time i start linphone but it is not good.

Bye
Karsten

I also use sipgate and always test if linphone works properly via
10005 (incoming calls work fine for me, but I'm still on 1.7.1 - it
just works :-)

Linphone 3.0 + STUN

Hi!

I'm trying to setup Linphone-3.0 to work with Russian SIPNET service. The problem appears with STUN is enabled.

I've two phones in local network. They have access to the global network and register at SIPNET. When I call from linphone to PSTN or celular phones everything is fine, but when I try to call from one linphone to another - session is established but with no sound. I think I must setup some parameters in linphonecrc file, but don't know how. Please help!

Best wishes,
Max
