Re: [ANN] GPE VLC 0.7.1 for iPaq

Hi,

I have had little success trying to install the VLC packages from
http://download.videolan.org/pub/videolan/vlc/ipkg-feed/armv4l/v0.7.1/h3600/
on a current familiar/gpe unstable system...

A few points:

- IMHO gpe-vlc-h3600 should depend libmad0 and libid3tag0 which are
available in familiar (and installed on my system, thus requiring
installing your libmad and libid3tag ipkgs with -force-overwrite
  or installing gpe-vlc-h3600 with -nodeps).

- So, if you want to provide upgraded packages (libmad, libid3tag)
please name them in a way that allows upgrading.

- Unfortunately all I get from vlc is:
"vlc: error while loading shared libraries: libmpeg2.so.0: cannot
open shared object file: No such file or directory"

  And I can't find any libmpeg2 ipkg.

Maybe you can give me some hints.

Regards,

Rene

PS: Left all in CC, sorry for any inconveniency.
