Realmedia problems

This is strange. I just tried the stream (Democracy Now!), and it
plays. But if I dump the stream, it isn't playable, except with the
CVS version from 2 or 3 days ago.

I can try uploading a portion of one of these files, but it'll take
some time (slow connection). Could somebody try this stream, both
watching it and then trying to dump it and watch it?

I'm completely confused now! As a side note, CVS now compiles fine on
Slackware, gcc 2.95.3 without the patch. Thanks!\

That url works for me, both streamed and -dumpstreamed, on 1.0pre3 and
cvs-20040421.

OK, thanks a lot. I was looking at the mplayer-dev list, it looks like
it may be fixed. It worked OK for me on an older CVS update, also.

This is kind of fun for me, and keeps the CPU occupied recompiling. :)
  Thanks again.

My test showed the latest CVS with last patch for libmpdemux/demux_real.c
 did work for this stream.

good luck

Big thanks!!!

Maybe you help me with my problem with no VIDIX support on my MOBO
on SiS 748. I describe my problem:

http://mplayerhq.hu/pipermail/mplayer-users/2004-April/044689.html
http://mplayerhq.hu/pipermail/mplayer-users/2004-April/044691.html

http://mplayerhq.hu/pipermail/mplayer-users/2004-April/044797.html

but nothing yet help. This is not problem version of MPlayer,
Linux distribution, gcc, glibc or whatever else - I try different
of this combinations and (I think) problem is with libdha/pci.c

(XFree86 3.3.3 scanpci.c, modified for GATOS/win/gfxdump
XFree86: xc/programs/Xserver/hw/xfree86/etc/scanpci.c,v
3.34.2.17 1998/11/10 11:55:40 dawes Exp)
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ !!!! for new MoBos?

mplayer -v -vo xvidix:radeon_vid.so file.avi
mplayer -v -vo vesa:vidix:radeon_vid.so file.avi
mplayer -v -vo cvidix:radeon_vid.so file.avi

Thanks. This is hilarious, I read the discussion of this patch, then
checked my source, which still had the old demux_real.c. I'd updated
it about 45 minutes ago. Saw your post, tried another update and now
have the new version. So I killed the compile I was doing, now
  starting again. LOL!

I'll post the results as soon as this gets done, thanks again.

The new CVS now works fine with all of my Realmedia files and seems to
be working like a charm. Thanks to all!
