Brandenburger Linux-Infotag

Hi,

anyone of you (well mostly the germany) are going to the Brandenbuger
Linux Infotag?

It might happen that I get a ride with a friend there, but I don't know
yet whenever I have time, neither do I want to apply for some offical
Lumiera presence/talk (well there are options for micro-talks, maybe
that, maybe NoBug). Anyways nothing is sure yet for now I also don't
know how long I would stay and if there is some cheap accommodation.

Lumiera Developer meeting

Hi,

normally we would have our Developer meeting tomorrow 20:00 UTC,
ichthyo told that he had no time recently and for me its almost the
same. There are certainly some things to discuss even if we made no
programming progress last weeks. A lot of RFC's are to be decided and
the new Website needs to be deployed. For me the usual time would be
ok, but I won't mind when we delay the meeting to this weekend (not
exactly sure if i will have time) or in wednesday next week. Most
importantly, me and ichthyo currently know what to do on the
programming side and we have a lot work to do, it's more important that
the other people involved with the website and stuff have some time for
the meeting I think. Please speak up what time meets you.

This is not the best time for me, I am commuting to work during this period, and unavailable after that.

If it were brought earlier a few hours, that may be ok, but I think it may be short notice to do so. I work from 1000-0700 utc 3p-12mid(USA) and commute for about an hour before and after 830-0800 utc.

Ironically Monday was a public holiday, and would have been perfect for me, ohh well.

The weekend would be fine. I am quite sorry that I have been unable to touch the staging site since my employment commenced. But I have great news that I am thoroughly knowledgeable about current post-production practices.

I would really like to have a meeting for the website.
The Openvideo Conference will be in NYC on 1-2 October and I think 
lumiera.org should wear a proper dress for the party.

BJMR, if I help you do you think we can make it in less than 4 weeks?

I'm available for a meeting on both wednesday afternoon/evening and the 
week-end.

I've been following Lumiera on IRC and mailinglist and I'll be attending the OVC in NYC as an enthusiast of open video and I was wondering if you folks needed help setting anything up for the event. I've been wanting to help in some capacity. I'm not well versed in programming but I'm sure I could help with physical labor! Let me know.

Hi all,
looks like I'll get out of the office rather late today...
So, if there is a meeting this evening, I'll join when I'm at home.
But, given that today BJMR couldn't attend, probably it's a better idea
to do a meeting next weekend, mostly dedicated to the website and any
preparations for openvideoconference.

Update: It might happen that i am not at home tomorrow (Saturday)
evening. But I expect you can solve the web stuff without me, feel free
to acknowledge a meeting anyways. (I possibly only know in the
afternoon about the evening ..)

Rumours have been heard that Herman Robak will be in NYC.
That makes quite a number of Lumiera T-Shirts flying around the 
conference venue.

1 - how to improve the website
(how much of the planned work we can do before the event)

2 - how to present Lumiera
(very likely there will be a dedicated quite-informal session for FLOSS 
projects)
