[issue13] aKademy 2k7 OggTheora files have video and audio out of sync

New submission from Diego Pettenò <flameeyes <at> gmail.com>:

Videos from this year's aKademy (KDE conference) were published today,
as OggTheora files. Correct playback of these files is impossible with
either libogg/libtheora-based demuxers/decoders (xine, mplayer) and
FFmpeg itself (ffplay).

FFmpeg (still being the one working better) have audio and video going
out of sync quite soon, and with a big timing difference.

An example file is
http://home.kde.org/~akademy07/videos/1-21-Gentoo_KDE.ogg (SHA1
3e46dbbfe9e759f758ba6a581ce1ba35d4e5d6a5 so that if it's replaced the
problem won't be marked invalid and I can just upload it in such a
case, I can't easily upload 108MB right now).

It probably is a file problem, but anyway Lu asked me to report for
completeness.

tested with ffplay, mplayer, gst

I'd close it as wontfix since looks like the file is broken or just mark
it as needinfo since it could be something even more hideous, Diego
could you please try to discover how they produced those files?

Diego Pettenò <flameeyes <at> gmail.com> added the comment:

I'd be fine with invalid, as the file itself is invalid (or at least
near so as nothing seems able to reproduce it); I'll certainly try to
find out who produced the videos, but that will be easier once people
are out of Glasgow because of the mess.

[issue14] DSP optimized float to int16 conversion in cook

New submission from Benjamin Larsson <banan <at> ludd.ltu.se>:

Cook uses a regular lrint to convert to int16 from float. It would be nice if
cook used the dsp function as other part of the code uses.
