Error when trying to pull from a mirror

I get the following error when I try to run 'svk pull' in a branch from a mirror of a subversion repository:
Filesystem has no item: File not found: transaction '64910-1', path '/qwt-graph/modules/events/log/ConditionPresentToggler.h'

//qwt-graph is copied from //mirror/tfs/trunk/work/hst, and //mirror is a mirror of a remote subversion repository. The file in question was deleted in the revisions that I'm trying to pull, but it seems to exist in the branch, so I'm not sure what the problem is:
$ svk ls //qwt-graph/modules/events/log/ConditionPresentToggler.h
ConditionPresentToggler.h

I should note that I started seeing this error after upgrading from Fedora Core 4 to Fedora 7. I used tar to backup my ~/.svk directory, and then untarred it (preserving permissions) after the install. I can check things out of the svk repository, and I did an 'svk admin verify' and didn't get any errors so I assume the repository is fine. Is there something that could be causing the above error message but wouldn't cause an error in 'svk admin verify'?

Output of 'svk --version':
This is svk, version v2.0.2 (using Subversion bindings 1.4.4)
Output of 'svn --version'
svn, version 1.4.4 (r25188)

I would really like to get svk working again. Let me know if you need any more information,
Tom

svk mirror for svk repositories?

Hello all,

I am relatively new with svk but I used CVS and Subversion in the past.

I have something like

foo: /Volumes/usb-stick/svk

in my depotmap. What I would like to do now is mirror //local/myproject to
/foo/myproject so I can take the repo with me and use it on another
computer.

However, as I gathered, svk mirror expects the path to a vanilla
Subversion repository, not an svk depot path, so I cannot simply do

svk mirror /foo/myproject //local/myproject

Can I still use svk mirror with "file://$HOME/.svk/local" as the path?
Will pushing back commits work in this scenario?

Or is there an easier solution that I did not see?

Thanks in advance.

SVK Mirror of Apache ServiceMix Fails

Hi Everyone.,

I was hoping someone could shed some light as to why this is failing?

$ svk mirror https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/servicemix //apache.org/servicemix
Committed revision 213.
$ svk sync //apache.org/servicemix
Syncing https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/servicemix
Retrieving log information from 1 to 596382
RA layer request failed: REPORT request failed on
'/repos/asf/!svn/vcc/default': REPORT of
'/repos/asf/!svn/vcc/default': 400 Bad Request
(https://svn.apache.org)

Is this a SVK or an Apache SVN problem??

Looks like Apache SVN problem (/repos/asf/ path is part of apache repo path).

Splitting large commits on push?

Hello everybody!

I have more or less the same problem as described in
	[svk-devel] "Large" commit fails ¿why? ¿can I split it?
	http://lists.bestpractical.com/pipermail/svk-devel/2007-October/001057.html

but with the small additional problem that I loose the granularity of the
other (small) changes if I lump everything together (like advised in that
thread). There are more than a dozen changes after the big one; I believe it
would work to revert all, and then replay them on a small scale - but I'd
like to avoid that, as it sound like some work, but not enough to hazzle with
some specially crafted script.

I also saw
[svk-users] Best way to exclude files from a svk push
	http://lists.bestpractical.com/pipermail/svk-users/2007-October/000084.html
which could be at least a one-time fix; but there's been no answer.

Is there any other trick, so that eg. an upstream commit is done every 100
files or so?

Alternatively - if there's no other way - is there some way to hack svk's
data, so that it believes that this has already been pushed upstream?
Together with some way to get all files accepted as changed again (eg. by
truncating some set, re-generating that set, committing + lump-pushing that
set) there might be some way to get the data upstream again...

Thank you very much for all help!

Regards,

Phil

Gah. This is annoying me again today. Is there a test case that
reproduces this crash, or is it "intermittent"? I might find some time
(during long syncs, natch) to take a look at it, even if Perl does
make my head hurt.

Can't use an undefined value as an ARRAY reference at /usr/share/perl5/SVK/Mirror/Backend/SVNRaPipe.pm line 254.

Hi,
I couldn't find a user ml so using this list instead. If there is a better
place to ask for help, please let me know.

I am using debian testing:
Linux home 2.6.21-2-amd64 #1 SMP Tue Jul 10 21:39:38 UTC 2007 x86_64 GNU/Linux
This is svk, version v2.0.1 (using Subversion bindings 1.4.4)

I try to mirror nuxeo.org repository (it is an open source project so anyone
can access it). I works well untill revision 14900 and then:

I deleted my .svk and did everything again. I got the exact same problem at

This is the mirror:

What can i do ?
