[Trac] trac rst processor options

hello,

id like to get the rst (ReStructuredText) processor to run with the
"--no-doc-title" option.
something similar to `rst2html --no-doc-title input.rst output.html`
without that option the rst processor creates duplicate header tags -
mainly duplicate H1 tags which is not so good...

how can i achieve this elegantly?

thank you

[Trac] Trac cannot synchronise with Subversion

Hello Trac users,

I am getting this Trac error and there doesn't seem to be a solution
on the web (I've googled for it):

Warning: Can't synchronize with repository "(default)" (Unsupported
version control system "svn": /usr/lib64/libsvn_client-1.so.0:
undefined symbol: svn_mergeinfo__intersect2). Look in the Trac log for
more information.

I have looked at the log file (/data/trac/rcs/log/trac.log) for any
error messages, but there are none. Any help will be greatly
appreciated. The shared object has been stripped of all symbols, so I
can't see what functions it has. I don't even know where this function
(svn_mergeinfo__intersect2) is defined neither :-( When I first set it
up, it was all working fine, and suddenly, it just stopped working.

Thanks in advance,
Wadud.

[Trac] Network Error (tcp_error)

We just recently started experiencing network problems with Trac
"only". No changes have been applied to Trac or the network. We must
stop and restart Trac many times a day. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.

What do you have your logging options set to? Go to Admin > General: Logging and make sure the Type is 'File'
and the Log Level is at least WARNING (but I would go all the way to DEBUG).

I would guess that someone has upset your python / server configurationn so that the "user" serving Trac can no longer load python subversion bindings...

[Trac] Git repositories and revision table

Hi,

I'm trying to set up the TracMetrixPlugin and the commits per day plot is empty. Digging through the code,
there is the following SQL statements:

cursor.execute("SELECT rev, time, author FROM revision "
"WHERE time >= %s AND time < %s ORDER BY time",
               (to_timestamp(start_date), to_timestamp(stop_date)))

which is not returning any commits. I changed it to get rid of the time restrictions (so it's just SELECT rev,
time, author FROM revision) and there's only a handful of commits from 3 years ago and nothing else. The
number of rows in the table is only 161 but we've had thousands of commits.

Is the revision table actually updated when changesets are added? We have the git post-receive hook
enabled, but it's an older one, trac-post-commit-hook. We're using Trac 0.12. Something seems to be
missing here; the repository browser shows everything correctly and we get our tickets updated upon
commits.

Thanks for any help you can offer,

Tim

I dont have much experiance with Trac and so probably wont be able to help you.
I feel that the people that will help you will need more infomration.

How is Trac set up (are you using Apache or Tracd)?
Is it only Trac that you are unable to get to, or the whole machine?

Re: [Trac] Git repositories and revision table

I recently noticed that my Trac installation wasn't storing the revision table, also using git.  (I noticed this while trying to search against commits.)  For the GitPlugin to store revisions in the Trac database, you need to have the following configuration set:

    [git]
    cached_repository = true

You should then run

    trac-admin <site> repository resync "*"

to collect past revisions and store them in the database.

Future revisions should also start to appear as they occur.  Though, I can't tell you for sure if this will work with the old repository hooks.

[Trac] trac TicketQuery: Is it possible to change the ticket color according to its priority?

I am configuring a trac installation (ver 0.12) at the moment and I am trying to make the startingpage a bit more talkative.

In the report module of trac it was possible to change the backgroundcolor of a ticket according to its priority using SQL as described here, but I did not find any information on how to change it in the TicketQuery macro.

Can anybody give me a hint?

regards, Chris
