[Trac] Re: Starting milestones on the ScrumBurndownPlugin

The operation add a date to milestone and its not reversible
Every time a ticket is created or modified the plugin cheks if its milestone is started and if yes, calculates the effort

I've read the usage instructions, but am unsure if it's still possible to "start a milestone" with a milestone that has some already closed tickets. Will it consider only the remaining ones?
Concerning this part of the issue, what does exactly happen when the "start molestone" button is pushed? I haven't quite understood it yet (it's not a reversible operation right?) Cheers, Filipe Correia

"users" is a trac-defined magic value, like "anonymous" or
"authenticated"?

One problem: I use the same .htpasswd files for both trac and the
related SVN repositories. However, Apache/SVN do not care about
trac permissions, right?

And it would be nice, to have the possibility of synchronising
user preferences, e-mail address etc. as well.

Same here.

It's hacky (and won't work if the session table changes) but what we do at
work is just stick a fake session entry in that that user's id (which are all
email addresses here). That way we don't have to get the user to do anything
particular:

sqlite3 /path/to/trac.db
insert into session (sid,authenticated,var_name,var_value) values
('user@...', 1, 'include in dropdown', 'y');

(the "include in dropdown" is just so we know where it came from, it doesn't
mean anything other than being a unique session variable).

I see. I guess this would be a good enhancement to add then :)
I've just posted a ticket comment about this subject:

Are you using 0.10? Pretty sure that system is new in 0.11.

[Trac] Mac Install does not create /usr/local/share/trac dirs

I installed Trac on Leopard via:

sudo easy_install --prefix=/usr/local --install-dir=/Library/Python/
2.5//site-packages http://svn.edgewall.org/repos/trac/tags/trac-0.11.2.1

It works under tracd, but I can not get fastcgi to work with Apache.
Or mod_python.

It seems that the install does not create all the folders in /usr/
local/share/trac. It just created a /usr/local/bin and that's it.
Thus, there is not cgi-bin directory. There are no errors reported
from the installers.

I tried the normal, non-easy-install, method and have the same issue.

Any ideas?

Todd
