[Trac] Upgrading clearsilver

Hello,

I'm having a problem and the possible solution is to upgrade
clearsilver from 0.9.14 to 0.10.x (0.10.2 to be more especific)

Well, I'm under Windows OS with python 2.4.

How can i upgrade clearsilver?

Can anybody tell me the steps to do that on Windows?

Thanks.

Mmm, the idea in principle seems ok, but it feels a bit heavy handed since
it will do this for every non matching MIME-type. I wonder if all these
files have the Subversion binary bit set and as a result we could just look
for something like that without a need for configuration options.

Well, I can tell you that it works at least. I just checked it on my own
installation.

Have you double checked your configuration file?

Checked what in the config file?

[Trac] trac-0.11 kills konqueror

I haven't seen konq (kdebase-3.5.9-7.fc8.x86_64) crash in a VERY long time,
but trac-0.11 reliably does it.

When I do browse source, and then try to open one of the subdirs, it
segfaults. Repeatably, and on different client machines.

Looks like a bug in Konqueror engine with Javascript handling.
It used to happen with previous releases of Safari as well - the
Webkit engine has been fixed since.
The workaround is to disable Javascript browsing if the userAgent
string reports a known, faulty browser - see:

http://trac.edgewall.org/browser/branches/0.11-stable/trac/versioncontrol/templates/browser.html#L21

No, nevermind, I misremembered something.

Don't do that.

Actually, this only affects wiki attachments. Repository files are handled
differently. Is there something else for the download page to do
except punt (or scan for viruses?). I think all the other information will
still appear in the list of attachments (file size, timestamp, description).

It seems "safe" to do away with the config parameter and make this the
default behavior, unless:
 - More functionality is planned for the attachment page (unlikely?), or
 - It will be merged with the repository code, or
 - Users would revolt.

It seems more natural to me, but perhaps other users think otherwise.
I'll submit a feature request.

Ted
