Hi,

the mailing list dev@... has not had any relevant traffic
for a long time. Just spam, that I have to moderate.
We here at Qint have not invested more effort into the tool, because
there are free multi-platform alternatives that are just as good or better.
We intend to close this project and mailing list.
Please contact me or the list if you wish to keep it open.

Repository migration complete.

The svnup project on tigris.org has been successfully converted to a
Subversion backend, and the repository data copied from
svn.collab.net. You'll want to "relocate" your svnup working
copies:

   svn switch --relocate http://svn.collab.net/repos/svnup/trunk \
                         http://svnup.tigris.org/svn/svnup/trunk

unsatisfiedLink Error: fileContent

Hi all,

I am trying to install svn4idea3-0.8.0, and I think I'm almost....
ALMOST there. I have seen the plugin in action and i really would love
to have it.
I added the pluging jars, the svn-win32-1.0.2_javahl_2.zip in the bin
path of idea, as well as
libdb42.dll,
libeay32.dll,
ssleay32.dll

from subversion 1.0.2

I can invoke the plugin interface in idea, set my user/pass, add paths
to monitor, etc

when i try to make a diff of a versioned fikle in my working copy (works
with TSVN, so no problems with my WC) I get following xception in my
IDEA log:

svn4idea on OS X

Hi, I just installed the svnup plugin for Idea 4.5 (no small feat, I
couldn't find any installatin instructions anywhere!) and it doesn't seem
to be fully functional. i don't know if I'm expecting it to do more than is
supported, or if it just isn't working fully.

Basically, the only functionality I seem to have is automaticall adding /
removing files to / from svn. If I add new files to my project or move /
refactor files within the project, they are added to and removed from svn
appropriately. But I don't see any other functionality.

- the svnup pane (Window -> SvnUp) is blank; there's nothing in it, no
controls, no contex menu when I right click in it... What should this do?

- files in the Project and Packages view don't show any revision status
annotations or anything; aren't filenames meant to be coloured according to
status?

- I don't see any other SVN related functionality on any of the menus,
including contet menus; shouldn't there be options for viewing revision
history, diffs, etc? (This one I was just naturally expecting; I haven't
seen anything anywhere to suggest features like this should exist, so I
just wanted to check if this is normal)

I'm using svn4idea45-0.9.1, svnup.jar from svn4idea.zip downloaded from the
Idea plugin registry (just installing the plugin had no effect), and
svn-javahl-1.2.0-11 from Fink.

WG: Re: Checkout problems after switching to Subversion 1.2.0 on Windows XP

Hallo everybody,

now I tried a chechout from command line and the problem rised again. So the question is posed in
subversion's users mailing list. Here I only wanted to state for all that this is NOT an issue of SvnUp!!

Thank you for your help!

I have not tried yet a checkout via command line...
This will be the next step and then subversion mailing list will be asked for. I only wanted to exclude some
dependencies with SvnUp.

Thank you for the information.

Re: Checkout problems after switching to Subversion 1.2.0 on Windows XP

Hi, folks.

I was browsing the Subversion lists, and noticed the following message,
which seems relevant to this discussion:

http://subversion.tigris.org/servlets/ReadMsg?list=users&msgNo=34104

I'd very much like to know if anybody gets information that this problem
gets solved, so my company can upgrade to Subversion 1.2...

Thanks!

Hi Werner,
I have never seen that before. But I would think that the problem lies in javahl, since SvnUo does not known
anything about the files in ".svn". It may even in the core subversion libraries, because javahl just
calls them. What does the command line do, when you execute the same command?

Checkout problems after switching to Subversion 1.2.0 on Windows XP

Hallo everybody,

last week I updated my Subversion Server Installation to the actual 1.2.0 version. As my base installation I created it on Debian LINUX from Source Tarbll. There were only minor problems due to my own errors but now it seems to work fine!

But after that I installed the SvnUp 0.9.2 JAR version with the 1.2.0 windows binaries and the appropriate javahl.jar. The tool works but I got problems. One of my repositories work correct and there are noc problems. But another Repository can be browsed but the checkout to a completely new Worksapce directory creates the error:

Problem running log
svn: In directory'D:...Templates'
file could not be found
svn: Can't open file 'D:...Templates\.svn\tmp\text-base\foo.svn-base': ...

Followed by a "org.tigris.subversion.javahl.ClientException: Problem running log" with a Java Stack (please see attached hardcopy).

Is this a problem of SvnUp or a problem of the Subversion Client? And who knows anything about it?

Thamnk you all in advance for some hints or information on it.

Werner
