Hi, as I've stated in <http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_id=9429234&forum_id=41680> I've created a Xindy package for Debian basing on <http://dev.atmarama.org/xindy-2.2-beta2.tar.gz>. I funded some time this weekend to this project and I've "finished" it. I've a package http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=362584 that might be uploaded to the Debian main archive in a few weeks. So I would like to know if the above-mentioned tarball is ready to be used as source of a Debian package or would you like to add any changes? I need some informations for my package which I couldn't find on the web page or in the source: * Since when exists the package? * Who are the copyright holders? Since when? * Who is the current upstream author? Joachim? I made some changes on the package. I want use the clisp version shipped with the source, because it introduces some problems. Instead, I use the clisp from Debian. This is the patch I used to achieve this: #! /bin/sh /usr/share/dpatch/dpatch-run ## external-clisp.dpatch by Jörg Sommer <joerg <at> alea.gnuu.de> ## ## DP: Unfortunately, Xindy comes with a full clisp source tree rte/clisp-2.33.2 ## DP: that is compiles and link against the clisp interpreter. This increases the ## DP: compile time (think of m65k builds) and leaves security risks and other bugs,(Continue reading)
