Compilation problem on cygwin (libtool is old?)

Hello,
I tried to compile the last version of xdvik(22.84.16) with X11R7 on cygwin.
$ uname -a
CYGWIN_NT-6.0 MACHINE_NAME 1.7.4(0.225/5/3) 2010-04-07 11:02 i686 Cygwin

Compilation doing:
$ ./configure
or
$ ./configure --with-xdvi-x-toolkit=xaw3d
and
$ make
ends with no error.
But the executoin of xdvi-xaw and xdvi-xaw3d stops with Segmentation fault.

It seems that the libtool is sufficiently old to cause problems.
(Sorry, I'm not good at libtool.)

It works fine with doing:
A. using new libtool
$ rm texk/xdvik/xdvi-xaw.exe
$ cp /usr/bin/libtool texk/libtool
$ make

$ cp /usr/lib/libXt.dll.a texk/xdvik/.libs/libimp-cygXt-6.a
$ make
and run xdvi.

Is it hard to replace the existing libtool with newer at next release?
