Summary: pagelist position assertion failure

Initial Comment:
I was visiting a DVI files which got reloaded many
times. Because I use fontforge at the same time,
I pressed Ctrl+] (and Ctrl-[) from time to time
instead of PgUp/PgDn. This is already the second time
I encountered this crash after pressing this very key.

  XDvi 22.84.10 (Xaw toolkit): Failed assertion:
    ../../../texk/xdvik/pagehist.c:201:
    "m_page_history_currpos == n + 1":
      Consistency check for pagelist position failed!

Initial Comment:
If it becomes possible to edit/proofread the document in the XDVI previewer it can be much better. I am not
sure of its feasibility. If it is possible it will be really a nice thing to do.
