I just reinstalled xdvik 22.84.10 (haven't used xdvik in a long time) and I 
made the following changes to my resources configuration:

xdvi.mainTranslations: #override\n    Shift<Btn1Down>:    drag(+)\n    Ctrl<Btn1Down>: drag(+)\n   
<Btn1Down>: drag(+)\n

I assumed that this should allow me to scroll with or *without* modifiers 
pressed.  However, when I try to scroll without modifiers pressed, the 
scrolling is totally erratic.  Scrolling with modifiers pressed works fine, 
though, but it is cumbersome.

If you have trouble reproducing my problem, let me know and I could try to 
give you further details.

xdvi not displaying eps graphics

 Hi,
I am having troubles with xdvik since I upgraded from SuSE 9.2 to SuSE 9.3. I 
am currently writing LaTex documents with included eps figures and they are 
not displayed with xdvik anymore.

With SuSE 9.3, ghostscript was upgraded from version 7 to version 8, probably 
this causes the problems.

When displaying dvi pages with eps content, xdvi outputs errors, similar to:

gs: Error: /invalidaccess in --put--
I attached the full error to this mail.

I next tried to upgrade to the newest version (xdvik-22.84.10.tar.gz) but 
there are no changes, the problem is still there.

My System is as follows:
xdvi -version (from SuSE 9.3):
xdvik version 22.84.9 (Xaw toolkit)
Libraries: kpathsea version 3.5.4, T1lib version 5.0.1

xdvi -version (current):
xdvik version 22.84.10 (Xaw toolkit)
Libraries: kpathsea version 3.5.2, T1lib version 5.0.1

gs --version
8.15.0

uname -a
Linux piano 2.6.11.4-20a-default #1 Wed Mar 23 21:52:37 UTC 2005 i686 athlon

Hmm, I can't reproduce the problem with the `official' ghostscript release
8.15 from
https://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=1897&package_id=108733&release_id=270066

and the following minimal example files:

\documentclass{article}
\usepackage{graphicx}
\begin{document}
\includegraphics{epstest}
\end{document}

OK, I can reproduce the problem with this file and Ghostscript 8.15,
but not 8.14 - I'll need to check which change in Ghostscript caused
this behaviour ...
