texdoc TETEXDOC (Works OK.)

2.
Click on a link to a pdf document, e.g. "texdoc manual"
on page 4. Then Acrobat Reader (version 4) gives the
following error message: "There was an error opening
this document. A file read error has occurred."
However, Acrobat Reader opens the file all right if I
do it e.g. from the command line.

[ xdvi-Bugs-619071 ] MOTIF: selectable text in popups

Bugs item #619071, was opened at 2002-10-05 23:31

Submitted By: Stefan Ulrich (stefanulrich)

Summary: MOTIF: selectable text in popups

Initial Comment:
It would be preferrable if the text in Motif popups was
selectable, so that it can be pasted to an xterm, for
sending bug reports etc. In the Xaw popups it is
selectable. This would mean that some textfield needs
to be used instead of the Motif convenience routines
for creating the popups, which would also mean that we
deviate from the MOTIF STANDARD(tm).

Summary: Support rotation

Initial Comment:
Currently, rotated material (as in PS specials) can't
be displayed by xdvi. A simple heuristic is used to
determine whether a page contains rotated material (in
psgs.c, drawbegin_gs()) and a warning is issued in this
case. It would be nice if there was some way for xdvi
to display rotated material correctly.
