problem with bibliography

dear sir/madam
i created a .bib file containing papers from same author(s) and included it in my main tex file.
after compilation I got name of authors printed for first entry in bibliogrphy and for rest entries
I just got a dash line in place of authors name.
I do not want my bibliography printed in this way. But, i want to print every entry of bibliography as
independent entry giving me names of author even they are repeated for several papers. I tried for at least
5days , gone thru every help and manual availabe to me except you; but got no solution.
please help me in this regard if you know how to do it.
thanks

This is a standard for some bibliography styles, e.g., for IEEEtran.bst (invoked as
\bibliographystyle{IEEEtran}), when there is more than one publication by the same author. If you want
another style, just use whatever you prefer (acm, amsplain, siam, apacite, etc.) in place of IEEEtran or
whatever you have now.

Control figure dimensions with \input{myfile.pgf}

Xelatex is great in giving full freedom with fonts. Neverthless I have a
query with the experts.
%=========================================
 It seems the xelatex will not accept figures in .pdf format. Also, there is
mismatch in fonts of figures and rest of the document, if I include figures
as .png file. So I am planning to put .pgf/.tikz files directly as
\input{myfigure.tikz} . This is the trouble for me. I do not know how to
control the dimensions of the figure in this case. If I use
----------------------------------------
\begin{figure}[h]
\centerline{\includegraphics[*width=0.575\textwidth*
]{wavemechanics-fig/Figures/gammaraymicroscope.pdf}}
\caption{$\gamma-$ ray microscope} \label{fig:gammaraymicroscope}
\end{figure}
----------------------------------------
it is fine. But that won't do the job for \input{gammaraymicroscope.pgf}.
----------------------------------------
\begin{figure}[h]
\centerline{\input{wavemechanics-fig/Figures/gammaraymicroscope.pdf}}
\caption{$\gamma-$ ray microscope} \label{fig:gammaraymicroscope}
\end{figure}
----------------------------------------
My question is:
How to specify dimensions of the figure in this case. Please help me.

The command "\nrightarrow" for 'does not tend to' seems not to work. Is
there any alternative, please?

Re: \nrightarrow

More detail about the problem please.

Did you get this problem in spite of putting "\usepackage{amssymb}" in preamble?

Happy TeXing.

nameref and latex2html

I need to refer to name of a section rather than its number in latex.

I can do that with \nameref

However, I'm also interested in using latex2html to create html version of
the document. Unfortunately latex2html doesn't seem to recognize \nameref.

I checked latex2html documentation and found \hyperref. But this one
requires 4 options. It doesn't seem to be as handy as \nameref.

Any suggestions?

Is there any way to access section name by its label? If so I Can make do
with \hyperref.

Mayuresh.

Instead of latex2html I used t4ht which is far more suitable for
non-trivial documents as it internally uses full latex capability.

It is a little tricky to get used to it. But it works and produces
reliable htmls.

I ran into a difficulty however. \nameref works fine if you produce a
single page html for your tex source. However, if you produce section-wise
split htmls (as shown here:
http://tex.stackexchange.com/questions/20218/how-to-make-htlatex-split-large-html-file-into-sub-documents)
, \nameref link is ok but its hypertext always points to Contents.

Perhaps a bug with t4ht. If anyone knows an workaround please post.

Mayuresh
