Ref citation appear as [?] in list of figures

Hi,

I have used bibunits.sty to generate references at the end of every chapter.
When I use \cite{} command, it gives me corresponding bibliography number in
chapters but in list of figures, it appears as [?] question mark. Any
suggestion to fix this would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Shashi Kumar

Need Proper Font Size in PDF

Hi TeXies,

I have found font size mismatch between *input values* with *output
PDF*files using LaTeX.
For an example, I am using "*10pt*" as a normal font size; but I am getting
"*9.96pt*" in the output PDF file after performing the compilation
procedure. This is the issue I am facing with the generic in built fonts
with using the software *MikTeX* version *2.5*.

Guide me how to come out from this issue.

Thanks in Advance.

XML deep Linking in PDF

HI All,

I have generated the named_destination.txt thorough a plugin in Acrobat. I
have used the hyperref with dvips option.

Can anyone suggest how to change the XYZ to FitH and FitR in the
named_destination.txt

            Example:

            Chap1CR18       13         {XYZ;.

            Chap1CR19       13         {XYZ;.

to

Chap1CR18       13         {FitR;.

Chap1CR19       13         {FitH;.

I had also referred the Hyperref manual which comes with the MikTeX package

Advance thanks,

Suresh

LaTeX question

Hello,
  I use the \begin{verbatim} ... \end{verbatim} block when I want to
display computer output. It works fine, but I want to be able to
control the font size in the block - how do I do that? I find the
default font size a little too big and I want to reduce it. Here is an
example of a verbatim block:

\begin{verbatim}
gap> Sum(GSym2);
[ 2*x_1^2+2*x_2^2, 0, 2*x_1^2+2*x_2^2 ]
gap> Sum(GSym3);
[ 0, 0, 0, 0 ]
gap> Sum(GSym4);
[ 2*x_1^4+2*x_2^4, 2*x_1^3*x_2-2*x_1*x_2^3, 4*x_1^2*x_2^2,
  -2*x_1^3*x_2+2*x_1*x_2^3, 0 ]
\end{verbatim}

Thanks in advance,
Manju

\documentclass{article}

\title{Verbatim Example}

\begin{document}
\maketitle
Below is a verbatim example.
{\tiny
        \begin{verbatim}
        gap> Sum(GSym2);
        [ 2*x_1^2+2*x_2^2, 0, 2*x_1^2+2*x_2^2 ]
        gap> Sum(GSym3);
        [ 0, 0, 0, 0 ]
        gap> Sum(GSym4);
        [ 2*x_1^4+2*x_2^4, 2*x_1^3*x_2-2*x_1*x_2^3, 4*x_1^2*x_2^2,
        -2*x_1^3*x_2+2*x_1*x_2^3, 0 ]
        \end{verbatim}
}

The above works!
\end{document}

If you want more control, you can define your own font with size,
colour, attributes using:

  \newcommand{\bigsize}[1]{\color{red}{\fontsize{60}{60}{\textbf
      {\selectfont #1}}}}

  \newcommand{\medsize}[1]{\fontsize{25}{25}\selectfont #1}

  \newcommand{\command}[1]{\textsl{\textit{#1}}}

and you can use it as:

  \bigsize{Nice}
  \medsize{output with}
  \command{$ /bin/dmesg}

Out of those informations, "*\hfuzz=400pt*" alone giving me an support to
remove all the "*Overfull \hbox*" informations from my LOG file.
