The following information was provided by our fellow contributor:

Name of contribution: ijmart, v1.1
Author's name: Boris A Veytsman

Summary description: LaTeX class for the Israel Journal of Mathematics
License type: lppl

Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The Israel Journal of Mathematics is published by The Hebrew
University Magnes Press. This class provides LaTeX support for its
authors and editors. It strives to achieve the distinct ``look and
feel'' of the journal, while having the interface similar to the one
of the amsart document class. This will help the authors already
familiar with amsart to easily submit manuscripts for The Israel
Journal of Mathematics or to put the preprints in http://www.arxiv.org
with minimal changes in the LaTeX source.

In version 1.1 the new environments ``namedprop'' and ``namedprop*'' are added.
They facilitate typesetting of special named propositions.

CTAN Update: autolatex 5.3

On Sat, 6 Oct 2007, Stephane Galland submitted an update to the

  autolatex

package.

AutoLaTeX is a set of GNU Make and Perl scripts that may be used to
compile LaTeX projects. AutoLaTeX automates the compilation process by
calling (pdf)latex and bibtex as they are required. It supports pdflatex,
latex, dvips, epstopdf and bibtex. AutoLaTeX also provides a powerful
feature for automatic generation of the figures that are included in the
LaTeX project: for several figure sources (xfig, dia, umbrello, png, svg,
xmi...) AutoLaTeX is able to generate the appropriate PDF picture.
AutoLaTeX also supports pstex format generation (from xfig and gnuplot for
example).

The use of AutoLaTeX on the command line is similar to GNU Make.
AutoLaTeX should be called with several targets to run.

Location on CTAN: /support/autolatex

Re: dante.ctan.org upload: KOMA-Script

On Tue, 9 Oct 2007 Markus Kohm submitted a new version of the

  koma-script

bundle.

The KOMA-Script bundle provides drop-in replacements for the
article/report/book classes with emphasis on typography and versatility.
There is also a letter class, different from all other letter classes.
It also offers e.g. a package for calculated type areas in the way laid
down by the typographer Jan Tschichold, a package for easily changing and
defining of page styles, a package for getting not only the current date
but also the name of day and a package for getting current time. All
these packages may be used not only with KOMA-Script classes but also with
standard classes.
