The "everypage" package extends LaTeX providing hooks to perform actions 
on every page or on the current page. Specifically, actions are performed 
after the page is composed, but before it is shipped, so they can be used 
to prepare the output page in tasks like putting watermarks in the 
background, setting the next page layout, etc. The package reminds in some 
sense "bobhook.sty" by Karsten Tinnefeld, but it differs in the way hooks 
are implemented, as detailed in the "everypage" documentation.

The "flippdf" package extends LaTeX making it possible to typeset a 
"mirrored" version of the document. This is sometimes required by 
publishers who want "camera-ready" documents to be printable on 
transparent films, so that one reads the pages correctly by looking 
through the film (i.e., with the unprinted side of the film towards 
his eyes. This package requires "everypage" by the same author and 
works with pdfLaTeX only.

The "draftwatermark" package extends LaTeX providing a means to add a 
textual, light gray watermark on every page or on the first page of a 
document. Typical usage may consist in writing words such as "DRAFT" 
or "CONFIDENTIAL" across document pages. The package may remind in 
some sense "draftcopy" by Dr. Juergen Vollmer, but its implementation
is much lighter (as the reduced code footprint shows) and does not 
rely on postscript specials, making the package fully compatible with 
pdfLaTeX. The package depends on package "everypage" by the same author.

the new version of the frenchle package has merely cosmetic changes.

i've installed the new versions of the two packages on ctan at:

language/french/frenchle          (licence lppl)
nonfree/language/french/frenchpro (licence shareware)

i've also updated their respective catalogue entries, in the repository.

automatic spelling (i.e. latin, non-latin or all letters).

This package provides routines to warn the user about the use of outdated
and superseded commands, classes and packages. As an example, it provides
an extension that detects many of the ``sins'' described in l2tabu.

 1. Customizing (different) footnote rules -- as invented by 
    Christian Tapp and Alex Rozhenko, implemented in manyfoot 
    v1.5 -- is now supported by ednotes at last. To learn 
    more on this new feature, please search ednotes.sty for 
    `Customizing *footnote rules*'. 

    One application for this is demonstrated in file 
    varnrule.tex . 

 2. Overlapping lemmas work as I had desired for a long time 
    -- especially in "moving arguments" (e.g. section titles). 
    Moreover, my recent work on this had introduced another 
    bug -- that is fixed only now.
