CTAN Update: fontinstallationguide 2.14

On Mon, 6 Dec 2004, Philipp Lehman submitted version 2.14 of his Font
installation guide.

This guide discusses the most common scenarios you are likely to encounter
when installing Type 1 PostScript fonts. While the individual tools
employed in the installation process are documented well, the actual
difficulty most users are facing when trying to install new fonts is
understanding how to put all the pieces together. This is what this guide
is about.

The license is dfsg. It has been installed in

  info/Type1fonts/fontinstallationguide

Thanks for the upload.

CTAN Update TeX Front End v5.4 for OS/2

On Mon, 6 Dec 2004, Walter Schmidt submitted the new release 5.4 of the
EPM TeX Front End, a module for the OS/2 editor EPM, which turns the
editor into an integrated TeX environment. The TeX Front End is primarily
made for use with the TeX system VTeX/2.

Main news with this release:

* All particular features of the former "professional"
version, including the live menu, are now made available
also with the precompiled (linkable) version. Special
thanks to Andreas Schnellbacher!

* The `classic' flavor of the TFE (the one for use with
emTeX) is no longer shipped as a precompiled module.
It can, however, still be compiled from the sources.

* Both the source code and the ready-made module are
compatible with NEPMD 1.01 and later.

See the file NEWS for further details.

Thanks for the update

that it was precise and reused character building elements across
the font, was released in 1998 and comprised (similarly as the
original) of three faces: upright, bold and italic. This is now
archived in antt-OLD.zip

The current distribution (ver 2.01) was generated using the METATYPE1
tools package authored by Bogus{\l}aw Jackowski, Janusz M. Nowacki and
Piotr Strzelczyk. Version 2.01 contains a greatly extended character
set (e.g., cyrillic, greek, most often used mathematical symbols and
