i have installed the file (after discussion with herbert) in
info/math/voss/Voss-Mathmode.pdf

i've been acquainted with this file for some time; it is an excellent
resource. i'm pleased to have it on ctan -- thanks for the upload.

i've installed the files, but i took the liberty of renaming gauss.pdf
as Voss-gauss.pdf, to avoid confusion with the package itself.

so the directory now contains:

 README
 Voss-gauss.pdf
 Voss-Mathmode.pdf

thanks for the upload.

i think so, given that the error that this version fixes first appeared
on a public list, rather than in mail between user and maintainer.
