CTAN submission -- ctable 1.6a

----- Forwarded message from Wybo Dekker -----
I have uploaded ctable-1.6a.tar.gz at ftp.dante.de

- ctable.sty provides commands to easily typeset centered table and
  (multiple-)figure floats, with footnotes.
Instead of an environment, a command with 4 arguments is used; the first
is optional and is used for key, value pairs generating variations on the
defaults and offering a route for future extensions.

- replaces ctable-1.6.tar.gz

- unpack in macros/latex/contrib/ctable

- LPPL

- changes (relative to v1.6):
  2 errors were corrected:
  * \fboxsep and \fboxrule changes made temporary
  * extra space behind tabulars removed
----- End forwarded message -----

Thank you for the upload. I installed the new version as suggested in
CTAN:macros/latex/contrib/ctable

CTAN submission -- chroma

----- Forwarded message from ctan-upload -----
Name of contribution: chroma
Name and email: Uwe Kern <chroma@...>
Suggested location on CTAN: info/colour/chroma
Summary description: Chroma: a reference book of LaTeX colors
License type: lppl

Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
v1.00 (2004/04/04)

This reference book presents several lists of colors and their
respective parameters in a number of color models.
The lists are constructed either by parameters or by name.

`Colors by parameters' displays systematic series of colors, based on
3-tuples of numbers that are interpreted as color parameters in the
`rgb', `cmy', and `hsb' color models.

`Colors by name' displays sets of colors that have been given specific
names such that LaTeX users do not have to care about their
parametrisation. However, as soon as there is the intention to use
these colors outside the LaTeX world (e.g. website construction or
drawing programs), the parameters suddenly gain importance.
For each color name, we display
- the color itself plus the name of the underlying model,
- a 50%-tint (mixture with `white'),
- a 50%-tone (mixture with `gray'),
- a 50%-shade (mixture with `black'),
- and the complementary color.

CTAN submission -- WinShell 2.5

ftp://ftp.dante.de/incoming/winshell

Please replace all the files in:
ftp://ftp.dante.de/pub/tex/systems/win32/winshell

The licence is 'nosource'.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
WinShell is a graphical user interface for easy working with LaTeX or
TeX. It includes a text editor, different tool bars and user
configuration options. It is NOT a LaTeX system. An additional LaTeX
package for Windows is needed.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

best regards,
  Ingo

Interim release of uk tex faq on ctan and web

this morning i found a significant bug in the way the faq's tex->html
translator works; i needed to correct both the script and the source.
as a side-effect the new version (3.11c) has one new answer (about the
error message "alignment tab has been converted to \cr").

the new versions are at the same place as ever:
