Installation of Knuth's 1995 release

I have now completed the installation of Knuth's 1995 release on CTAN
(I announced the interim installation of all but the fonts a while
back).  The installation has been done at ftp.tex.ac.uk; it should
propagate to the other CTANs in fairly short order (though I have
little evidence that propagation to ftp.shsu.edu is reliable just
now).

  I've just gone through all accumulated correspondence and made appropriate
  changes to the master TeX sources on my home computer. (I plan to do this

  main subdirectories, "dist" and "local"; the former consists of the master
  WEB, TeX, METAFONT, Computer Modern, TeXware, and MFware sources, while

  similarly named parts of the big TeX archive tree; they should replace

  until independent vetting has been done.

  TeX Version 3.14159 has four bug fixes, two of which are significant:

I've discussed this stuff with Dominik, and he has agreed that we may
install it on CTAN.  I have therefore expanded the .zip file and
installed its contents as tex-archive/language/tibetan (at
ftp.tex.ac.uk -- it'll propagate to the other sites when the winds
blow in the right direction).

I have processed the said file and installed

  ttn3n2.300.ps         Processed for a printer with CanonCX engine
  ttn3n2.600.ps         Processed for a Laserjet 4

These files are in tex-archive/digests/ttn (as well as in tex-archive/
usergrps/tug/ttn, which is linked to it -- sorry for any confusion on
this matter in my earlier post).

MusiXTeX installation

I have (at last) installed Andreas Egler's latest version of (his path
of) MusiXTeX.  As I noted in the small hours of this morning in a post
to the <mutex> mailing list, a problem arises because both Andreas and
Daniel Taupin are (independently) developing MusiXTeX; I have no wish
publicly to step into this situation.

I have therefore installed a new README file in the directory, whose
content is:

  Please note, two of the original authors are working independently on
  MusiXTeX at present.

  Daniel Taupin, the originator of MusicTeX, is developing the versions
  in the series musixtex-T* and musixpk-T* (the latest of which are
  always also present as musixtex.zip and musixpk.zip).

  Andreas Egler, who first put MusiXTeX together, is developing the
  versions in the series musix0* and {600,300}pk0* (these files are only
  present as .zip archives).

  I apologise for any confusion this situation may cause some users, but
  I am not qualified (or willing) to step into any arguments that may
  exist between the (three or more) earliest workers on MusiXTeX.

  If users so demand, I could modify the directory structure so that
  Egler's and Taupin's versions exist on different directories of the
  archive.  Personally I would prefer that the developers restart
  working together, as my life would become easier, but while we're in

corrections to these mf-sources. I suggest to place the mf-sources to
the same directory as ean macros. Therefore, the mf-sources will be twice on
CTAN (one original by N. Schwarz and one in ean directory with my
corrections). I hope it will do no problems.

My idea is to place my macros to directory CTAN:/macros/generic/ean but you
can find a better solution.
