Thanks -- I have just installed the new versions on ftp.shsu.edu. For the
record, the four files involved are:
 Readme.CMacTeX2.2
 Readme.Index
 extensions22.hqx
 view-print22.hqx

Thanks for the updates. They have been installed at SHSU to replace the
files previously in that directory by those names.

Thanks for the notification. The files previously in
macros/latex209/contrib/elsevier/ have been removed and replaced by
installing the files in pub/styles/ on ftp.elsevier.nl (where I found the
files identified in your post). As these are apparently files which still
rely solely on LaTeX 2.09 and do not have the more common and obvious
LaTeX2e hooks, I have retained them in the macros/latex209 hierarchy.

Korean fonts

I uploaded a complete library of 6 Korean fonts containing the usual
TeX font sizes. This emTeX-font library is for 300dpi devices; also
included are tools to extract the fonts/rebuild the library.

    Werner

PS.: at the moment the library is at ftp.dante.de in /incoming; it
     should be available in /fonts/korean.

Your submission has been installed to replace the previous contents of
 tex-archive/macros/latex/contrib/other/minitoc/
on ftp.SHSU.edu (as individual files).

Thanks for pointing this out -- the files
 tex-archive/macros/latex209/contrib/misc/minitoc.sty
 tex-archive/macros/latex209/contrib/misc/minitoc-test.tex
have been removed from ftp.SHSU.edu.

Thanks. The affected files are:
 dvips22.hqx
 dvipsppc.hqx
 metafont22.hqx
 metafontppc.hqx
 tex22.hqx
 texppc.hqx
 texutil22.hqx
 view-print22.hqx

on ftp.shsu.edu.

xdvik installation

Dear experts,

I have installed xdvik on my SUN OS Release 4.1.3. Everything
compiled quite easily, previewing works including the rendering
of postscript pictures but:

it does not call MakeTeXPK when a font is missing.

I added -DMAKETEXPK in DEFS and also tried +maketexpk as a command
line option. Neither one called MakeTeXPK. The MakeTeXPK is in my
path and in the same directory as the xdvi executable.

What stupid oversight of mine is causing this problem.
Before I forget I am of course installing version 1.8
straight from the CTAN archives.

Best regards,

Anton

submission of Korean mf sources

I just uploaded at ftp.dante.de a package of six Korean fonts
(hlatex_mf.tar.gz) as metafont sources. It should be soon in fonts/korean/mf
or something similar. The were originally uploaded at cair-archive.kaist.ac.kr,
the main host for Korean related software.

These fonts were reengineered from .pk fonts; nevertheless, the quality
is not too bad. The file lj_han.zip (in fonts/korean) is a standard
representation for 300dpi printers.
