Video over SIP in Yate

in both sides are clients with the same codecs (h.263)
audio works fine, but doesn't want (
May it be some special params in routes?

g729.yate module

Greetings Yate Community,

Need a help in installing g729 codec. I've got a trial license from www.codec.com, installed it, placed bind file, but Yate does not recognize it.

Looking in Yate modules folder I found gsmcodec.yate, ilbcodec.yate and speexcodec.yate and I guess that the module for g729 should be something like g729codec.yate. If anyone has it could you send it to me?

Or, according to the Linux installation from http://yate.null.ro/pmwiki/index.php?n=Main.QodecG729 I can compile this module by myself. But I'm on Windows PC and have no idea how to do it under Windows.

Your help is very appreciated!

Serjio

hey,
if both client is in same subnet, please try to bypass the media and let the rtp flow directly bethwan clients and see if that work or no.
thank you.
It was be very simple )
both sides of call behind NAT (
so it must go via Yate.
but why doesn't want bypass RTP traff via themself?

Re: Video over SIP in Yate

Hello.

As I know, you must allow video codecs in Yate config.
Try add to ysipchan.conf into section [codecs]
h263=yes

Re: Video over SIP in Yate

According this line
m_codecs.getBoolValue(payload,defcodecs && DataTranslator::canConvert(payload))

Yate add codec in default=true only when engine cat convert it.
But enabling each codecs must work.

Re: controling Cisco as5400 through Yate

Hi!

Do you have linksets in ysigchan.conf referencing the defined links? Links are
created on demand from the MTP3 sections.

In the log file do you see any warnings related to the links?

Paul
