If you only plan on it being used for 1 line, I'd say get a pair of
TDM10B cards. Stuff them in low end celerons for asterisk to run on and
configure to talk to each other. If you gsm you should have no problem
with the 64k link. Or better yet, Maybe for the simplicity, you should
look into getting a snom phone for the remote side. Nothing better than

I only have T1 interfaces. 1 T400P at work, one T100P at home, and soon
to have a T100P for work too.

Do not plug in ethernet cable at all, even if the interface is down.

The long time to come up is due to the software being verified, and then
booted. It is that way on many channel banks.

Also it could mean the zplex is not happy with the line coding it is
getting. It is a very sensitive device and flakes out if it doesn't get
good signal.

ADSI FDN and Security Codes

Okay,

Hypothetically I have a model number of a phone to order, the FDN of the
slot to program, and the security code to program it.

How long is a FDN or security code?

The ones that I have seem to be numbers larger than 32-bit (the code
appears to use four bytes, aka 32-bits). Does that make sense?

The ethernet port from the device doesn't even connected to network.
But i did configure the ethernet interface. I think the device
mess up with the network configuration.
How can i get back the device to original configuration?
Anybody experienced with it, or any good idea to fix this problem?

Thanks in advance

Re: Serious problem with z-plex 10

If you can still login you can do
set2default
That will set it to factory defaults all your config info is now gone you
must re-provision
with all the slot nonsense
(the default user name is “admin,” the default password is “zhone”):
I have an old working config for a 24fxs zhone in format used by its tftp
loader
use at your own risk..

IF you't dont have a tftp server then grab one from here
http://www.jbmelectronics.com/tftp.htm
my old notes says...
after factory default config ..enter following cmds

#load new IP definition & enter ip/net mask
new ip-interface-record 1/1/1/0/ip
#save the ip config
update ip-interface-record 1/1/1/0/ip
#check it is correct
get ip-interface-record 1/1/1/0/ip
#connect to yout tftp server & load config from txt file
restore network <IP of your tftp server> zplexfxs.txt

I might have missed some thing that is obvious, :)
