v1.0.0 Released

Yesterday was a big day for Pipemeter.. as 1.0.0 was released. This
marks the first time I feel pipemeter is safe for use by anybody. This
version adds memory limiting, so that pipemeter won't eat 500MB of RAM
on a 3 hour run with adaptive block sizing.

This also begins my development on v2.0.0. I plan to make it
multithreaded or multiprocessed, and create something called libiometer
which should allow other programs to easily add meters like pipemeter
has.

Pipemeter v0.9.2 Released!

Pipemeter v0.9.2 has been released.

Notable changes are:

- rate-only shows elapsed time
- progress bar shows elapsed time at the very end
- fixes from Ed Avis for errno handling and EINTR-less platforms.
- adaptive block sizing fixed in rate-only mode
- adaptive block sizing aligns sizes along 8 bytes

This is a low priority release, but it is recommended that all pipemeter
users upgrade immediately.

Pipemeter v0.9.1 Released

Ok, as I predicted, there were some funky things with v0.9 and the new
time displaying.

0.9.1 fixes some bugs found and patched by Petr Adamek. It also fixes
the .spec file so it should build on most rpm v4 systems now with a
simple rpmbuild -tb pipemeter-0.9.1.tar.gz.

Tarball is up, binaries will be built shortly. I recommend that everyone
upgrade to this version, though it is a low priority.

pipemeter 0.9 Released

Hi everybody! pipemeter 0.9 was released today. It has some minor
feature enhancements that I expect will be improved over the coming
months.

- Added ETA to the percent complete display. (finally!)
- Added a 'log' mode that will be expanded later, but for now just
prevents the use of carriage returns so that none of pipemeter's output
is overwritten.

This release is of low urgency, but the ETA bit is quite cool so I
recommend everyone upgrade to it.
